Think about it, they're favored by many American Christians, which is the dominant religion of the US. They are the Richest people, they control lot's of the news, it's illegal to be an anti-semite, but it's ok to hate people whom you think are terrorists. They are backed up by the US, they are supplied with weapons, they take advantage of every resource available, AND CAN YOU DIG IT, SUCKA!!!!-Booker T, Harlem heat.
Stupid people breed stupid children regardless? What is your take of ascribed status and how it plays a role in the education system? If someone is rich from birth and this persons ethnicity is in control of the majority of wealth would you agree that it would be much harder for the "stupid people" to stop breeding "stupid children"?

What many in the US would consider poverty is a normal standard of living in many Eastern countries.
In any case, whether aptitude tests are a question of inherent talent or cultural capital, (I believe very much in the latter) having more of either resource will be an advantage to any group.

My sister used to teach Hmong students in Sacramento, they are a very close knit group.

The human brain is the result of millions of years of evolution. Societal status is not going to change somebody's cognitive mental capabilities, just like it's not going to change somebody's eye color.
Evolution occurs out of necessity. For whatever reasons, to survive in their specific evolutionary climate, Jews had to rely on their brain. Just like Blacks relied on athleticism.
What do you make of the disproportionally large amount of Blacks that play professional sports. Is it due to their status in society? Do you think that if Jews were given the same opportunities as Blacks they would become a presence in the NFL?
