I copped this on my lunch break..slammed it in the ride...man, this shit is worth the 12.99
I do have a few thoughts...

- This reminds me of the Bay Rap in the late 90's, real gutter and real gangsta.

- Some of you complaining about the hooks, but this cd isnt suppossed to be a dance cd, this aint no Flor Rida or Kanye shit, this is straight Bay Gangsta shit.

- Yuk comes hard and he shows a few different sides on this cd.

- Mastering...it aint so bad, it might not Be %100 but its %95.

- Lyrically, Yuk is doing Yuk, smashin.

- I support Rap, I dwnloadand I buy,I bought Dubee's new shit on my lunch break the Tuesday it came out and aint bumped it since that Wed....This shit kills Dubee's shit.

- Yea its been 4 years, That aint Yuk's fault, thats J.prince and rap=a=alot...and people complaining about it not being a Dub cd, get over playas, sit back and enjoy the shit. He gave us 17 tracks.

- This Cd is growing on me more and more, I can tell this will be in the 6 disc changer for a while, not justthe one I have in my cd case, this will ge airtime with ya boy.

- Lastly....I been waiting for this shit for 4 f*cking years..was it a long time...HELL YEA...was it Yuk's Fault...HELL NA....will I bump this shit..Hell YEA and was it worth the $12.99.......HELLLLLLLLL YESSSSSSS!!!!...

nothing wrong with the mastering, it's the mix that is waaaaaaaay off on a few of the songs...if you got slap you can hardly hear Yuk on a couple tracks...

mastering sounds good, they just didn't mix the vocals right...

Yeah, Yuk and Crook two of the best lyricists on the Westcoast. They would make an awesome collabo album...
i've never thought of that. that would be sick!

yuk album is good. feelin almost all the songs. sad how rap a lot doing him. he rep rap a lot hard too. because of that song "drug dealer" got me checking out traxamillion's songs. he come tight on the beats. (i know i should be knowing by now tho lol.) & matt blaque too. i see him all over everybody album. & i like a lot of songs i've heard. so i google just for kicks & found that he had an album out in 2005!
http://cdbaby.com/cd/mattblaque
i wanted to buy it but can't find it no where. i check tower, amazon, wherehouse, cduniverse, rapbay, friscostreetshow, etc. i did find it one place for $35. it is available in mp3 format on itunes, etc. i might have to go that route if i have no luck finding cd.

i loving that song he did wit devin "star in the sky", yuk came a long way. i really believe he owe his success like he said in his song "sacrifice my life" from (thugged out albulation) cuz of his grandma's prayers! i love that line.

I've been listening to this for the last 3 days and at first I wasn't feelin it, but it has grown on me quick as fuck. Yuk comes tight lyrically like usual but to be honest but it sounds like he held back on some tracks.

Quick analysis:
*The mixing and mastering is terrible.
*The beats are aight.
*The hooks were either hit or miss.
*Devin, Richie Rich, Crooked I, and Short were the best features (Devin in specific).
*I usually like Matt Blaque on hooks but his voice sounded high pitch on most his features.
*Playboi is the worst track on the album.
*The best thing going, star in the sky, and corner store were the tightest tracks.
*The Regime came tight on their track.
*East Oakland had a lot potential but was done miserably. I dont understand why they repeated the sample every 4 bars. Didn't even allow the cats to spit.
*If Shine Like Me, Doin My Thang, and My Turf weren't previously released I would've like the album more cuz those songs is hella clean.

Overall the album is a 7.8/10.

its just too bad Yuk has the capability of dropping a 10/10 classic album, and we get stuck with an album ranging from 6-8/10. My rating was a 6.5, and after a few listens, im sticking to it. Maybe it will reach a 7 when it is said and done. Not horrible, but not the best Yuk has came with, and I dont blame him at all, I blame RAL and J Prince. I expect Yuk to come with 10 times better material when he aint dealing with RAL anymore.
