^ i think he smokes to much weed and idolizes lame-ass popular rappers and his loving them comes out in his beat selction and bars
I agree 100% about the fact that he idolizes lame rappers. I don't think the weed smoking hurts him, hell he's probably been doing that since day one. But yeah I think back when the Thugged Out came out, he was on that Pac, Biggie, Kool G Rap shit to feed off of as that album had similarities to some of their songs, but now he's into the Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Dipset mode, money mode and off the thug style.

I can say though I fucced with alot of the All Out War songs! He came with heat on many of them. He's best when he has beef. No beef and no edge for Yuk. Beef brings out the best out of some folks.

I bet 75% of the bay rappers dont know shit about publishing. Id also venture to say that most bay rappers never make more than 10gs off an album especially since most of you cheap bastards download from the bootleggers. Cant blame you since the majority of the content comin out is mediocre at best

publishing is for the person that wrote the song
Publishing is for anyone whom Wrote, Produced and/or Perfomed on the song.

If I sing a hook (just the hook alone), best believe I am getting my publishing points.

Also I doubt that the check is from "I Got Five On It" alone.

Michael Marshall should be getting publishing for the writing of the Hook, the singing of the Chrous and for the song that is sampled (Jay King stole the song from him).

Cats should of took that mans money aside and paid it into Mike Marshall's publishing. Numskull, Yukmouth, Jay King and Tone Kapone all should of taken royalties and set them aside into his publishing account.

Not for singing. What if you sang a hook that was written already? Or they made you sign a work for hire contract to sing? I wonder if mike signed a work for hire contract.

^ ^ I'm just fuckin wit ya, but you know how it is, a lot of people who represent that sound prolly never dropped a dime on his music to contribute to that check.

$2545 quarterly sounds like good shit, good living and thats just off just one tune, thats big
I gotta go with Coondog on this one, 2.5 racks is a nice bonus but a living it ain't and I don't think Yuk is portraying it that way. Since you in London remember that's check represents 800$ / £500 a month. Sadly no one in the game lives off that. In the UK some folks get more than that on handouts.

And by the way, I don't know enough about UK artists to speak on it but that story in your sig playboy had me worried, not to hate but are you sure you're not smokin a little too much? That's on some major league paranoia type shit, you put that out there like that and someone going to put you in court.

Like I said, I don't know shit about those cats (I've done business with management on one of them) so it's not a threat, but some advice to you playa. Your story don't make a whole lot of sense but you stay making up crazy stories like that and any one of them folks on sight is going to shut down on that.
