middle school/high school kids is where the money is at. dont mean they will buy, but you will entice them. thats the first step.

Wow. Someone ran out of ideas so they completely bit Lil' B's style? Thats what its come too?

Its a shame because the beat was good. There was another Dru song posted (he was riding on Bart) that was pretty fucking good but this is just sorry.

magicians and clowns know their audience. very few rappers do.
Good answer. That means it's a lot harder to be a good rapper. It's hard work to earn them fans. It's not a given like a clown when you honk for attention & blow up a balloon and have the crowd of kids flock in.

I personally dig the track.

I have to say that Dru's first album Flame Spitter to me is one of he rawest and most original sounding bay albums, he had such a dope style back then and i remember when his next one came out he went a different route

On Flame Spitter, did you produce anybtracks? It says produced by Indicent from memory on a few tracks except i think it is spelt differently....

Yes I did produce a few for that album.

Thing is, Lil B is like early 20's and Dru isn't...Being someone who I've ALWAYS considered a good MC, it sucks to hear him dumbing down his stuff. It's kinda like that depressing feeling you get when you see some old dude at the club rockin' skinny jeans and drinkin Ciroc just trying to be "hip"....

And yes, I told this to Dru directly. He was like "stop livin' in the 90's!" to which I replied "how is being lyrical a 90's thing?!"

To each their own and I wish em the best.

Indo - is he really serious about this track or was he just fuckin around?
Is any track like thie serious ? I think he just reaching to a different market. Some ppl take this rap shit tooooo personal and serious ..including me sometimes. But its all in fun and like it or not this is whats in kids ipods today. Different strokes for different folks.

and your favorite rapper of the 90's early 2000 would be doing what you like if there was cd sales / shows to support there career or growth...if this is what you live off to support your family and loved ones then business wise I think your going to target where the real $ is at..... even if it means going left field to get it. just my opinion.

But Indo, whether u like Lil B or not it's HIS style....Copying it isn't going to make you boatloads of cash. By the time something hits radio there's already a new trend comin' so you need to MAKE that new trend. All of a sudden you're coming off as though the style is "cool" when you were on the biggest Anti-Lil B crusade not a couple months ago.

At the end of the day (as I previously said), I wish Dru the best. He and I (and you) done alot of work together and that will never change. Just not my thing.
