just hope for the best for yaboy. mack 10 has distribution just like a major just not the big budget for advertisement. i think he'll do fine plus mack 10 has connect with all the major artist for features and production.

But it makes me wonder if its through Fontana he could do the same thing here with SMC.

It is supposed to be a sub label of Cash Money and they been advertising that for years and that Mack 10's Album was gonna come out on Hoo-Bangin/Cash Money with G Malones right after. As I said earlier, if this is the push Mack 10's OWN album had (or lack thereof) I don't see the advantage of this move for YB. He has a way bigger buzz that Mack 10 right now and he could have found himself a better situation or just stuck with SMC anyway.

(Los Angeles, CA. – September 29, 2009) – West Coast gangster rap icon and Hoo-Bangin’ Entertainment label owner Mack 10 set the summer ablaze with the release of the single "So Sharp" from his ninth CD, Soft White (Hoo-Bangin'/Fontana/Universal) in stores today.

He did shut the label down at one point and he owe alot of money to some the artists signed. BUT he relaunched the label in 2005 when he dropped that handbook album. I hope Ya Boy sell more then mack 10 since macks new shit on sold 3,000 copies.

i thought ya boy was droppin all these mixtapes and doing his indepdent grind in LA to sign to a fucking major? like people have already said, a deal with SMC/fontana seems similar, as would a deal with Koch (e1 now right?). i wish im the best of luck, i just hope they dont have him locked to a multiple album deal and never get around pushing them out correctly

Killa Keise got a bigger buzz than YB lol...until I see an album cover and release date I ain't checking for Ya Boy. I'm tired of paying his bills by buying these half ass mixtapes for the past 3 years.

I THINK THIS IS A GOOD MOVE FOR YA BOY THE ONLY ARTISTS ON HOO BANGIN THAT I KNOW OF ARE HIM AND GLASSES MALONE MACK HAD A TON OF ARTISTS IN THE 90'S AND PROBABLY HAD HIS HANDS TOO FULL. IT SEEMS LIKE HE'S LEARNED HIS LESSON BECAUSE HE HASN'T BEEN SIGNING THAT MANY CATS TO HOO BANGIN SINCE HE RE OPENED THE LABEL AND HAVE ANY OF YOU HEARD THE NEW MACK 10 ALBUM? IT'S THE BEST LA ALBUM OF 2009 AND DEFINATELY HIS BEST ALBUM SINCE "FO LIFE" HE IS MAKING QUALITY MUSIC AND THAT COUNTS FOR ALOT HIS PROMOTION IS HORRIBLE BUT IF HE COULD DROP A NEW YB ALBUM AS CLEAN AS "SOFT WHITE" THEN I'LL BE COOL JUST TO HAVE A DOPE NEW OFFICIAL YA BOY ALBUM.
