My class had like a 50/50 male to female ratio and my department is mostly male, we looking for more female techs at da moment. X-rays are to look at more than just bones too..

I understand, but why now? Why is it in such high demand now? It just seems like the thing to study these days. Are there new machines out or what?

I didnt know it was in any higher demand.. I think people might be just now finding out that its a fairly easy job with good pay with out all the dirty work that nurses do. Digital machines are the NEW shit tho, its nice not having to run cassettes or films.
