if that was the case they wouldnt of signed most of the wrestlers they have now so thats complete bullshit

+ tna wouldnt have been able to get him if he was signed
Well their policy can always change. I heard Nigel explain it in an interview, he was offered the contract and he just had to pass some pre-screening physicals and it would all be finalized, he didn't pass. but ok.

JOHN CENA SAYS HE WANTS BRYAN DANIELSON BACK IN WWE - UPDATED
by Buck Woodward @ 8:48 PM on 6/13/2010

John Cena has posted the following on his Twitter account tonight. Needless to say, this should get people talking:

"I am very upset to hear about the release of bryan danielson. Social networks were formed so people would have a voice, and an opinon. I Know you all have your own, theories and whatnot. I respect that. I have never asked any of you to feel a certaint way about me. But Bryan left a lasting impression on the wwe universe in a very short time, and although it came at my expense, I agree with the majority Of you who are caught off guard by this choice. I know I'm not exactly appreciated by all, nor do I care to be, but I believe what I believe. I would like bryan to come back to the wwe. I would like to sign your petition to bring him back. I was taught to stand up for what I beileve in. I tried and failed, so I could Use some help. Tell me how to sign and I will. If for nothing else, to at least have a chance to have a match with him after what was done I know that seems a bit more fair. Give me a chance to have a fair match with him, and give him yet another chance to prove that he does Belong with us. Sorry for the long message, I know I am probally way out of line, I am sorry if I have offended anyone. But like me or not That is what Hustle. Loyalty. And most importantly Respect means to me. Enjoy game 5."

Since that post (actually a series of posts, due to Twitter limits) was made, I've had my email box flooded with opinions. Some think it is a shoot, some think it is a work, and some think it is the result of someone hacking Cena's account. I guess we'll see what it really is.

UPDATE: Several hours have passed, Cena has continued to tweet about other items, and the Danielson comments are still up, so it would appear those thinking it was a hacker are incorrect. So, now we can just wonder what Cena's true intentions are with his comments. Let the speculation continue!

especially with the michael cole angle, i think they are gonna be talking about him even more. Barrett will probably be his mouthpiece while hes "Fired" maybe a good lead in to put cena in the spotlight with his petition to bring him back

whatever the end result, this has definitely got people talking and debating, which is good for Vince's bottom line & usually translates into bigger ratings.. I'll be interested to see Raw's ratings this week.

idk I dont think they would go out of the way to break kayfabe and say he was fired for choking someone out post benoit. thats a lot different than he was fired for stepping over the line.....

know what I mean? :ermm:

yup, but as far as I've seen the Benoit part of it has been pure speculation, and as has been said, other wrestlers have choked people out in various ways dozens of times since the whole Benoit tragedy.

- CM Punk seemed to make light of Daniel Bryan's release at the SmackDown live event last night in Hampton, Virginia, before his match with Kane. Punk entered the ring and cornered announcer Tony Chimel, grabbed his tie and held it while looking back and forth between the tie and Tony's face, threatening him.

- John Cena's
Tweets regarding Daniel Bryan have caused a lot of speculation, mainly that Cena addressing the release on Twitter makes it feel much more like an angle and not a legit departure.

WWE's whole idea behind putting Cena on Twitter was to push storylines and his character. It's no secret that WWE officials want their talents to use Twitter as a way to push what's on TV.

As noted before, some within the company have been feeling like Bryan's release is an angle and with Cena's new comments, that feeling among some is stronger than before.

^ if it is an angle.

Shit this might be the best thing to ever happen to Danielson....this has the people talking, and makes him out to be too rough for even the top wrestling company.

If both the Matt Hardy and the Danielson thing are angles, then I'll be the first guy to welcome back something interesting from WWE. Both of these angles play into the interwebs, which Vince has been trying to get his head around for a while now.

I think if these things are just part of a storyline, they're figuring out how to use the internet sites to twist storylines. I mean, everyone knows if you pull a name from WWE.com's superstars page, a website is going to report that they're "gone" from the company. You can put a simple "future endeavors" message up and people are going to read it as real company info.

It wouldn't be hard to find someone to fill a spot in the company who's entire role it is would be to use the internet to push angles. Hell if they did it right, they could open up their own website under a fake name and incorporate fake news into already available "real" news.

Quick timeline regarding the firing of Bryan Danielson

By Rich Twilling

A lot has happened over the past few days regarding Bryan Danielson and his WWE career. Here is what we know so far and all eyes will be tuned into Raw tonight to see what (if anything) is mentioned next.

-Danielson was released from WWE on Friday. It seemed legit because WWE.com put it in their "News" section. They also used both his WWE name (Daniel Bryan), and his real name.

-At first, most everybody thought it was a work and the "firing" was merely part of the big NXT angle that began last Monday on Raw.

-Reports began to surface saying Danielson was let go because he took things too far by choking ring announcer Justin Roberts with his own tie.

-It was also reported that "a very important person" not currently working with WWE said Danielson's actions went way past their PG rating and that he should be let go. Many people believed this to be someone involved with Linda McMahon's Senate campaign.

-At this point, whereas a lot of people thought it was a work at the beginning, those same people were convinced now this was a legit firing.

-Then WWE Champion John Cena wrote a very long message on his Twitter page saying he wanted Danielson back in WWE, that he wanted to face him in a match, and that he would sign a petition to bring him back. I don't recall anyone going to bat for someone getting fired like that before, so now signs pointed again to work.

-Danielson himself said he was biding his time and waiting for the right moment to speak. He has previously announced changing his Twitter page name to Bryan Danielson and that "the winds of change are stirring." That phrase has been a popular one for Wade Barrett during the first season of NXT.

-Danielson's Twitter page remains easy to find in the WWE Network since WWE is still "following" Danielson's page.

If this is a work, WWE went out of their way to make it seem legit, even to a lot of their own employees. Either way, even more than last Monday's great NXT invasion angle beginning, this situation with Danielson has people stirring and buzzing.

RAW WILL PROBABLY GET A BETTER RATING TONIGHT BECAUSE OF THIS, AND IF IT IS A REAL FIRING I COULD SEE VINCE BRINGING HIM BACK AND TURNING IT INTO AN ANGLE, CRYME TIME GOT FIRED A WHILE BACK SOME BULLSHIT LIKE THIS AND THEY WERE BROUGHT BACK WITHIN IN LIKE A MONTH
