Nuttkase- you seem like cool people from your previous posts, but you need to brush up on the history homie.... Kool Herc didn't even start DJing till 1973 (and keep it real, cats didn't even know who Kool Herc was untill they started reading about history) "Rappers Delight" dropped in 1980... so unless you were a B-Boy living in the Bronx, that's when hip hop started... so yes, Tone Loc and Sir-Mix-A-Lot are old school, cuz rap wasn't even 10 years old... if you're pushing 40 and you got teenagers rapping, you're old...
Thats cool homie. I have lived in Washington most of my life but I was born in the Bronx on Feb. 29th 1980 and lived on Decatur Ave. My cousin who is in his 40's has been a hip-hop dj in NYC since before I was even born. So I will admit you are mostly right. I guess I am just kind of biased to what I consider "old school" since I have had hip-hop around me since I was born...I was more or less raised on what like you said people didn't even know about until they started reading about the history of hip hop and rap music.

Anyways like I said in a previous post...good to see more people like you on here SFWOOD...

Stay up.

Sorry, I missed the wonderful 30 year old producers who sample grainy jazz music. You're a faggot backpacker who thinks hip hop is a Miles Davis record over a breakbeat while the MC makes similes to pelicans on mars. Nobody but whiteboys who live in Greenwich Village and out in the suburbs give a fuck about that bullshit. I know because I live in the Bronx, the birthplace of hip hop, where nobody listens to anything except Reggaethon and G unit.

Nobody cares about your favorite rapper - MC Shit Stains who break dances and raps about rapping. And nobody cares about your dated true school beats either. Go skateboard to some DJ Shadow you suburban white piece of bird shit.

me personally no offense but fuck it.

i think just about every real east coast beat sucks like 8 asses each.. Im so sick of the 2 kicks and some fuzzy snare drum. with the same anoying ass alarm for a riff going on non stop in the back ground. How the fuuuuck can anyone nock that shit in a car that shit was not made to knock in a car. can you picture yourself knockin some shit thats just a 2 step and has that fucking record player stadic that they put on every fuckin song then you got the ones who just pick out any old record with a girl singing on it then make her sound like a chipmunk and there gangsta. that shit is garbage pure uncensored muthafuckin garbage and i dont give a fuck.

and the "birthplace of hiphop" thats so gay and out dated they keep clinging on to that cause they have no creativity they sit back mark on everyone elses shit then play the "birthplace of hip hop card. fuck hip hop if thats what you call it.
hip hop started when fuckin djs talked over other poeples songs yea and thats the same shit there doin in new york. speaking on other peoples shit. thats not the rap i know.
