fuckin' kids don't know their history
wow... slow your roll their homie, many things I am, but a "fucking kid" isn't one of them... you should've picked that shit up from my the beats I posted on the other thread (just like I recognized your 3XDope and Cool C picks)

I'm 35 (too old to be up on this bitch) but since I'm on "house arrest" I spend a few minutes on this site cuz I fuck with Bay music... but if you cats on the general hip hop shit want to talk history, please, by all means, ask me some questions...

Nuttkase- you seem like cool people from your previous posts, but you need to brush up on the history homie.... Kool Herc didn't even start DJing till 1973 (and keep it real, cats didn't even know who Kool Herc was untill they started reading about history) "Rappers Delight" dropped in 1980... so unless you were a B-Boy living in the Bronx, that's when hip hop started... so yes, Tone Loc and Sir-Mix-A-Lot are old school, cuz rap wasn't even 10 years old... if you're pushing 40 and you got teenagers rapping, you're old...

Slowpoke- you're a funny dude (and I'm digging baby in your post) but you shouldn't co-sign unless you first got the facts...

first time I heard "Rapper Delight" was on the 31 Balboa (11 years old), the bus was packed with kids going to Washington High... the enitre bus was silent as the radio jammed the Sugar Hill Gang classic... I was the only white person on the bus, because back then, the Fillmore was ALL ghetto... the Fillmore used to be the Harlem of the West Coast for those that don't know (those that remember the Pink Palace know what I'm talking about)

who was on the second issue of the source??? Queen Latifah (with a card board cover)

who was on one of the first issues of Murder Dog??? Kadahfi (sp) sporting a Sherlly Temlpe perm... back then, Murder Dog had a big cover (looked like Interview magazine)

what color was the first Ultra Magnetic Tape??? white
what DJ was in 7a3??? Muggs
what group was WC and DJ Alladian??? Low Profile
who was the rapper who put Fat Joe on??? Lord Finnese
who is the baddest MC live??? KRS One
who produced the second Kool G Rap and DJ Polo album??? Large Professor (Eric B stole the credit)

ask Dan the Automater (and tell him I said he's a punk) when he was living in his parent's garage making beats (and jocking Kool Kieth) who I am???

ask Mind Motion who was there when his brother FX gave him his first gig at Nightbreak???

ask Puff Daddy who was up in his office at MCA, when my homie Bosco Money from Downtown Science (remember them???) was asking Puff for a loan to start his Natural High clothing line???

ask B-Real and Everlast who's house they were at when they got on the mic during my block party on the Day of the Haight St. Fair???

go PM Scotty Fox (don't know the dude) and ask him what company is W***** G**** VP of??? (hint: it ain't Universal no more) my #1 ace is "calling shots" and "making racks" off the game I laced him with...

I don't rap and I ain't in the Biz, so in the end, it don't mean shit.... but understand this... first time I heard Mac Dre's "Californa Livin" was when I was fucking with a stripper from Marin that worked at Market St. Cinema (that's when most of you cats on the siccness.net were learning how to walk)

know the Game??? I am the game

80% of the beats that are on east coast rappers cd's
Right now or in general? East coast artists have some of the most illest production in the history of hiphop. You just don't know where it is that's all. Check the history though before you say something dumb like that.

Maybe not everybody likes sampled chipmunk voices like you do.

Well you got my feedback either way faggot, if you don't like it then don't post on the board.

I<3BUTTERFLYS:

If you think that's all the East Coast has for beats then clearly you don't know much about Hiphop.

Oh yeah, and Soundclick.com has done more to make me hate hip hop than any other force in this universe. It seems like every whiteboy in Holland makes beats which sound exactly like Eminem's gloomy bullshit.
Your right, Soundclick.com is weak as fuck. However, it has nothing to do with this discussion or hiphop period. Get out in the real world man.
