Okay a lotta cats just talkin shit. Yeah, Thizz put out some recycles and few short-ass gimmick albums but to talk like they just put out a load of garbage, I can tell its a lot of cats who never actually cop their CD's and just going on hearsay and putting too much on it.

Thizz put out plenty of good albums in 2006, don't get it twisted. Seems like because it ain't Dre everyone always so sore about 'em. But if some of their roster folks was on the independent come up you'd be hyping their shit. But since it's 'Mac Dre presents...' that shit kills you.

Fendi Boyz, Dragons, Sumthin Terrible, all those drops was dope to me, and all of y'all bashing that new Mall release, you need to let that soak a minute, it's a hella clean album, it just don't hit you that first time you hear it, but it's definately a grower, been playing that for a couple of weeks now.

I don't really like to post up on the worst album because I ain't trying to hate and it's not really constructive, if you don't like something, just let that shit pass. But since so many people is talking shit, I may as well put it out there and give you a PROPER example of a worst album of the year...

The new Sleepdank - Danker Nation CD.

I been a fan of dudes for the longest, cop all his CD's, but this new one was just horrible. It's not even a below par album, the whole beats and mastering and flows is just completely wack. I don't know what dude was thinking, if you want a real example of a garbage CD in 2006, there you go.

HOW WAS SCHWEEZ??? I DIDN'T BUY IT, BUT IM SURE SOMONE ON HERE DID....HOW WAS THAT???
I copped that new Scweez and it was cool, better than his first joint, a real solid product with nice features and clean production. Once again anyone calling it garbage obviously didn't cop it and is just hating on sight, or cos of one track.

I'm trying to see your album fam, I heard a few tracks off it and was hella liking what I heard, that track which samples Nice & Smooth (that was always my back in the day shit) is off the hook, that'd get any club night crackin.

mac dre could get away with acting dumb b/c his music was 100

Having met Mac Dre (R.I.P.), I can honestly say: Mac Dre was that type of person. He had charisma, charater etc etc...

(and I've said this before), now we have everybody tryin' to be the next Mac Dre and really trying to pick up where he left off.

The sad part about it, everybody fails to see that Mac Dre was himself.

And that is the footprint everyone seems to skip over.

I can only speak for what i bought and heard, Im pretty seasoned when it comes to buying albums and honestly most the shit i got this year was pretty good

Out of 2006 I thought C-Bos shit was pretty weak but hes from sac.

I'm a big Mob Figaz fan but i think The Shower Possee wasn't all that great, I only liked like 2 or 3 songs off it. Lots of recycled verses and the production wasn't all that I wouldna call it wack though

Damn, this thread turned into the official Thizz Ent Drop's garbage petition...lol

They must of made a shit load of scrill tho'...

Things thizz did well this year IMO:

Get on the radio, sell a lot of albums, marketing and merchandise, Mistah FAB's album, J-Diggs and TREAL TV 2.

I think the best thing they came out with was TREAL TV 2
----------------------------------------------------------

Didnt the SOZ come out with a album this year....lol

I'm curious. Why iz Thizz so popular on thiz board if they're so wack? I don't listen 2 none of that shit so I can't really give my opinion on the music. Niggaz on thiz board keep scresmin that Thizz iz putting out garbage but I see an eqaul amount of people steady buyin that shit. I know niggaz want 2 support the Bay but support good muzic, fuck trying 2 ride with the niggaz in your backyard if they wastin space.

Thizz has dropped a lot of good shit, Thizzle Washington was a classic...

But after Dre died it was like 20,000 albums in 8/months all from thizz.... How many lables do you know who could drop 5/albums per month for 8/months and expect them to all be quality? It takes 2/years to create one good album sometimes how the fuck do you expect to record and album in 3/days do a cover real quick and get it on the shelf and expect it to be good.... feel me.

^^ on the last two posts... first up I ain't no Thizz cheerleader, if something is wack I'll call it, but @The Evil Genius, you know what it is: the cats that is steady yappin about Thizz fallin off, that's all they do. People who cop the CD's and let that shit soak, they just get on with it. It's the people who been trippin about Thizz since Dre that need to voice that opinion three times a week. We get the picture cuddies... but really its all hate because 99% of what they're saying applies to just 29% of Thizz music. There's only been a couple of joints that recycled more than your favourite artist. Them Thizz Nation joints been dope out the gate, it was only the last one that was back to back old shit, and that won't sell, but the others have done and do. I bet if Kilo was posting up on here like JT did we would get the same 'I respect your hustle fam' from hella folks and then you'd see all the people who support Thizz. It's just the same, when no one lookin its just the haters who keep on talking bad until they get challenged.

@Mr. Ree... what you say about quantity over quality is true but when you mention do a cover real quick, do this do that... it ain't a fair reflection on Thizz because even their corniest CD's, the product, the design, has all been on point. It ain't like they have some bootleg looking covers and two minute exercise in putting out a CD, as a label, as an enterprise, I want to hear one person tell me they don't have their shit correct. And you know what. If we made a checklist of things Bay labels could improve on like 3 or 4 years ago, Thizz is handling all that. Professional design, covers, mastering, brand, and albums not getting pushed back. Everything cats whined about, now Thizz does it correctly, on time and on point, and everyone is still steady hatin.

Hell a lotta cats on here listened to a lot of corny independent music a few years ago, but repped it anyway for being out the Bay. Just because Thizz is doing it properly now with crossover appeal suddenly its fashionable to knock them for being on a real fast paper route. And most people its just because they 'heard' that Dre got recycled a few times or some other shit. Go actually cop their CD's and appreciate the strength of that label and the other shit on there. Cash, Klyde, Fendi Boyz, FAB, and they just for starters. Quit whining like they on some conspiracy to hustle off Dre's name, all I'm hearing on these type of threads is jealousy and hate. Who else is doing it like Thizz?

Thizz puts out recycled songs this is known, so don't purchase what you already have. I didn't buy the younger stuff like Dragons and Thizz kid, but Treal TV 2 was worth it. Sideline CEO's are funny.
