A solid, solid album release. Is makin this year even more enjoyable for my musical tastes. Props to Snug, Skat, Strange, and anyone that respects good music. DaStoned, pull this stick out your ass and move on.

skatt and snug to me have been sly on the mic.. their rhyme schemes and the way they portray their content makes them origional.. but they havnt got that whole 3d content thing goin on like tech n9ne or krizz.. that drill team content ( drilln for bitches like soldiers in the army drillin for oil, being in a marching band, playing footbal on a field) all to just portray them fukn bitches .. now that is intense content but done techs way

Agreed.. if anything Popper was the stand out artist that really brought the track down.. I don't know if anyone disagrees but he is extremely monotone and sounds tired and dragged out.. Paul Wall, while displaying quite basic lyrics, at least in my mind did well on the beat for "Get The Fuck Outta Here"..

yeah... I'd have to agree with that

Is Snug the one who sounds like he's whining all the time?

That would be a valid assessment.... Snug's pretty much unlistenable on alot of tracks... Skatterman's basically a cross between Bun B and Killa C...

The result?

An album that's -"barely"- better than The Plott Thickens.

I think urban legends was a dictation of street life of course but it wasnt as personal as this album last album had tracks like car wash this has tracks like heartbreaker and these songs seem extrmely personal.. "I aint gave a fuck bout nothin since my brother died" thats real talk if u know anything personal bout these men and if anyones heard shit from kutts new album... they b sayin personal shit there too.. and i personally think if no one is embracing it 100% it is because its so diff from what tech or anyone else on the label does, the new shit comes with the fact that their not glorifying the street life they are shining a light on it
