is it just me or is anyone gettin a sour taste in their mouth about the federation linkin up with so cal? I've always had luv for LA area, especially when snoop n dre came out n the early 90s n all that blah blah.. but honestly i would like to see the bay do it without the input, influece, help, assistance blah of the south. For all the respect they never gave us ANY love unless we got them on our shit... I dunno maybe im just too much of a bay fan to appreciate it but thats all i wanna see is some southern cali mf's tryn to claim a piece of the pie when they traditionally never shared shit.

fuck this bein a cali movement, its a bay movement and mf's need not forget it or get it twisted!

and b4 any of u go and say i dont have luv for SD mf's need to halt that cuz [otnahs are from Daygo, 1 a southeat cat and the other just a SD cat

Coz every since them gay ass niggas got on BET talkin bout how they started hyphy most East Bay rappers ain't fuckin with them like that no more. Them niggas sold out, they mainstream now, they gotta get love from somewhere else, town niggas ain't puttin up with that shit.

If you want to keep this a "Bay" movement artists will keep selling 10k. We are one state here thousands of miles from anywhere else with a remotely competitive rap scene.

There is some decent talent in San Diego. Im surprised nobody from the Bay but Mess has hooked up with Mitchy Slick.

I agree Southern California shouldn't be influencing anything, but if you think about it its really Southern California imitating Northern California more than anything else.

But I agree about them showin no love to the North for a long time. I had to laugh my ass off when I hear all these posts about Snoop showin Bay love and uniting the West Coast...Snoop only hooked up with 2 or 3 Bay rappers from 1991-2004 and now that the North is hot up here its all about Unification...

i dunno i think the bay is on the begining of its bubble because finally its a youth thing. kinda like Atlanata when Outkast dropped their first single. ATL has blown the hell up since then!

Battle Locco is Federation and he's from San Diego. So he's going to rep his hometown. He , Doonie and Rick established the Federation. Whats wrong with that? And in case you didn't know...Warner Bros is in LA. So there influence is based in LA. If you want to be a local artist and get just local love...that cool. But you'll be selling under 100k. Mainstream is where its at. Too Short, E-40, all the big cats branched out of the Bay.
