d locc, who are you speaking to?

some folkz wouldnt take knowledge even if it came
if you are talking about people beliefs then you can rule knowledge out of that equation because most folks beliefs are based on faith not knowledge.
please share some of your knowledge on the subject

this is what the post is about everyone getting heated, some of us are trying to chop it up about some shit, and others get heated and start talking shit? why

interesting contrast faith/knowledge. but . . .

@d locc im not here to be confrontational just interested in peoples open and honest opinion, what was stupidly asked and what was stupidly said, i respect everybodies opinion, please do the same, or at least give your ought against what was said.

@shea good point, but im was open in my question, i think its too easy for people to attacc christianity because its the predominant religion in our society and is very available to be picced on. I want to know the opinions from shi'ites to buddist, although i've never met a siccness buddhist, im very interested in their opinion as well.

why do you all have so much passion behind religion what has it done for you, to you, with you, etc. . .?

much, marinara

We all have diffren't opinions on diffren't topics, If you don't belive in God KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! Nobody wants to hear shit about why you hate God or why you think it's bullshit.
Do we go from door to door promoting no god? Do we have tv shows deditcated to no god? Do we have pledges under no god? I think you see my point.....

Well im back up in this bieatch

to break down my token on the subject
I believe in my relegion partially because of what i was taught growing up as well as feeling that there is a higher power...
i draw alot of strength from what i believe in ... physical mental spirtual the whole shabang
it makes me a better person ...no im not saying it makes or doesnt make you a better person it simply instills a set of morals and values which i feel bring some good into this world for the better of us all...
i wonder where those who are not religous draw that extra push from when times are tough or when no one is there to turn to...?
i know that i use god like a training partner in life to make me do that extra set or run that extra mile.

D-Loc,

Are you saying you have some type of knowledge that us Atheists and Agnostics dont? Please, Loc, explain to us why we are stupid? Yes, I would exept this knowledge if there was a cash prize, shit, I'd exept it for free. My point is there has been no supporting evidence of this "knowledge" that you speak of.

Answer dosia's question, if you can.

SHEA said:

IF YOU DONT HAVE YOUR FAITH IN LIFE TO BELIEVE IN, THEN YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING MORE THEN MATERIAL THINGS, & PEOPLE THAT WILL FAIL YOU.
I totally agree, but i have a question though, are you a manifestation of your god needs, or is your god a manifestation of what you need, or both. since faith comes from within when does the faith become something outside of you. REAL QUESTION.

@ Talus #! funny pun. anyway, I draw from within. I believe godliness is a facet of human nature. a personification of our own inner light(figuratively speaking). (at least those that have one).

@Hit The Blunt, I dont. ((( somebodys throwing peanuts at me again )))

much!

Ya'll are right, there is nothing wrong with your own beliefs, but check this, who's the one that gave you the brain to come up with these beliefs? God himself...

And I'm just gonna leave it at that.

@ XianeX

Religion is a serious aspect of human existence, it has been around since the alpha of time. If you chose to make light of it, you will see the imminent results, I'm praying for you, your bitterness is not understood...

naw folks im not bitter. i apologize if i gave that impression. like ive said before. i appreciate religion for what it is. but i choose not to take part in it. if some one could provide me with a religion that is irrefutable within its evidence id prolly consider. but im like this, if you love god/jesus/yhwh/crip/ whatever enjoy it i dont want you to lose your joy, but i want to know and i hope you know the who, what, when, where, how, and why's for having it.

im not making light of it im trying to shine more light on it.
