who misses the old bay style?

i think its also the equipment nowadays..i mean if u listen to the old skool its simple. Simple mob beats that u can prolly make on fruity loops or some other simple program. but now since they got the money they got the real shit for production which means more futuristic sounds and shit the producers are prolly expeirmenting with and prolly dig it feel me? it also has to do with time also i guess...everybody goes thru change...but i miss the old style...
i agree witchu pill...also the radio comes in to play too....we werent getting radio play so its mobb shit all day...now that weez gettin a lil shine bay artists are tryin to give that radio mainstream feel to it...which is why alot of the old skool bay area fans like my self ask..."wut happened to that mobb muzik?!"

I'd rather here his "Backback" beats which most of the country enjoy rather than that annoying bay area sound that yall on this forum love so much that I hate with a passion. If they want nation wide success they gonna have to move from the boring ass bay production with all those typical chord progressions and goofy sounds.

then why is it that quinn does much worst than mess? quinn has obviously changed his style and marv has not...which is why by the way explosive mode 2 didnt happen!! creative differences...

mac dre was a HUGE influence on the new bay sound..... dre was original doing his thing, now everybody's is fallowing behind
people need to fallow dre's path, but in a different way.... do your own thing, be original.. if you have a good product people will notice

^^^^see that was dre's style. thats what made him stand out because that was HIS style. I hate to use the word but seems like bay rappers are biting his style because everyone started jockin DRES STYLE. Everyone jus needs to be original and keep rappin to find their style instead of just lookin at other rappers shit and say "oh thats whats hot now? gotta make some beats like his and go dumb like him." If they keep it original maybe people will like them instead of them trying to sound like the next man. If they make a lot of cds of them with this hyphy shit when u know they like to be gutter but jus rappin like that to get the money, then they aint gonna go no where in this rap game.
