First off know that its your giving right as a father that you get %50/50 physical as well as legal custody . That child is your blood and hopefully your a good father and you deserve it. Time share is totally different though and that along with what you and the mother make decide what you pay in child support. If you handle your business and your a good father keep as much time as you can with your child in my experiance overnight stays = days spent.......... Try to keep it as equal with the mom as you can . BE A DAD be there for your child. Your child didnt have a choice in being here and they didnt have a choice in who there parents were gonna be make a difference in there lives......... Never give her CASH no matter what kinda sob story she gives you more often then not SHE HATES YOU AND WANTS YOU TO PAY FOR HATING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always keep records set up a seperate checking account if possible so you can keep track of every penny you spend on your child. That way if the county comes after you later because she has been on CAL WORKS while you been breaking her off the D.A. will get off your ass . AGAIN NEVER GIVE HER CASH and dont get a lawyer. That dont do shit . They give you options but not advice.in the end its better if she gets a lawyer cause they'll be responsible for all paper work and shell have to pay. you have to go into sales. in sales you can get paid on what is called a 10-99 form. everything goes to you, no taxes or anything is deducted. everything you make is paid to you. you then incorporate yourself. so now your job is paying your 'corporation' you yourself have no actual income. when you buy a car register it in the name of your corporation. finance companies will allow you to do this and they will list you as a personal guarantor so your credit is how they give you the car but for child support sakes you can honestly claim you don't even own a car. lease your pad or buy your pad in the name of your company. your personal credit allows you to basically be a co signer for your self. so the finance company still gives you everything you want but on paper you personally have no assets. any money you spend just write it as an executive expense account. pay yourself a 100 a month in actual salary. they can then take 30% of that and your child support is 30 bucks a month. any extra money can be held in your corporate accounts and they can never touch it for child support.

but for karma's sake support your kid. the only people that do what I told you are shady insurance and car salesmen and shady preachers. key word to all of them is shady. support your kid. now i know some dudes who was married or whatever and the jump off got pregnant and then decided to ruin they lives so they did what they had to do to take care of they families at home. cant have a family and also shoot out 5-6 hunnid a month to some dramatical beezy. they made their income untouchable and then paid what they could honestly afford.
If the mom is on welfare or public assistance, and you are paying court ordered child support, part of your payment will go to the mom, and part of it will go towards paying OFF the welfare that the mom receives, but if she works, and you work, and you pay child support, the state will take a minimal processing fee, but the majority of the money will go to the mom.

You need to get your ass down to the courthouse for the next hearing. If you don't have a job and claim you can't pay such and such amount. They will still get you. The state, wherever that may be, will give her the money for you and they will get it back from you by any means necessary. When you go to court. Don't go with the sole intention of arguing the child support amount. Go in there with a humble attitude, dress nice, speak well and ask for 50% Custody. You do the math and figure out what that means. In the initial filing the court will ask for 50% of your wages. If you don't respond and go to this hearing. That default amount will be garnished from your check and income tax returns. State and Federal! My guess she is already getting public assistance, which the state is trying to recoup from you. Which was the case with me in the beginning. If you don't get 50% custody you need to request visitation at least a couple of times during the week and or every other weekend! If you go in there sounding like you do here, you aint gonna get no love from any judge. So you need to straighten up your attitude. If for nothing else, IT IS YOUR KID for crying out loud. No one should have to twist your arm to force you to take care of a life you created. You gotta miniature YOU running around and you tryna get out of taking care of him?
