your woman gets half your shit till the baby turns 18, if you don't pay you get dings on your credit, garnishments judgements etc. shit ain't no joke. Make sure you document every penny you give your woman under the table because if she gets the slightest wild hair up her ass she will own you for real.
My best friend went through his own personal hell dealing with this shit. I'd do what he did and file for joint custody ASAP, they still jacked my dude for 6 grand in back child support that he shouldnt rightfully owe because he drove from the bay to the oregon border twice a month on his own dime to visit his kid and gave the mother money. The girl got pissed at him, tried to slap a case on my boy knowing he has joint suspension for shit he didn't do. He was stuck on supervised visits in some governemnt building for an hour a month for a bullshit case he was eventially cleared for, eventually got joint custody stopping the child support but they are still trying to stick him for 6 grand.
Be careful this is when women show their true colors, better hope your girl ain't no welfare queen like my homies ex. Bitch got 4 kids getting checks for all of them plus welfare plus money from the tribe. lazy bitch probably clears more dough than half the mutherfuckers on here with jobs. She has a PHD in playing the system.

there's no way to get out of it once she puts your social security in the system..
every job you get, they will snatch what you have to pay a month...

i think there is more deadbeat welfare queens out there than deadbeat dads, All my friends who went through this shit were always there for their kids. Its the women who left them. The men are always predisposed to look bad in the eyes of the court system though. i know a guy from the navy whos stuck for 20 grand in back child support on a kid that ain't even his because of the common law marriage laws in Texas
