This city is HELLA Diverse as far as MC's go......If I was gonna speak on an MC speaking on more traditional SD shit, I would say two dudes that have caught my eye would be my homie Klassik (www.myspace.com/klassik619)
as well as Dubie....but I am not really to versed in that world, so I don't want to come off ignorant..so i got to throw out the disclaimer but like both of them dudes alot...

as far as my world Goes.....

Deep Rooted-Self Explanatory

Blame One- my dude just got a really solid deal with a DOPE label, and he has alot of strong influential people on his team up in LA.

The Best Bet to be heard on a national level out of my peoples though would have to be..

Big Left (myspace.com/bigleft) - Thats my older brother right there....he is originally from the Bronx now in SD, and he got himself linked up with a dope crew a few years ago called LA COKA NOSTRA (myspace.com/lacokanostra)
you cats have prolly seen there shirts everywhere...
which includes all original members of House of Pain, ILL Bill, Slaine and Big Left. They are official Soul Assasin MC's wit Cypress Hill, Funkdoobiest, Psycho Realm....he just got of a 57 city US tour, and 20 day European tour YESTERDAY...peep the video below Lefty is in the Red La Coka Shirt, bandana, with the crazy deep voice..

ANY RAPPER CAN MAKE NOISE.. THE NIGGAZ THAT MAKE THE MOST NOISE AINT ALWAYS THE HARDEST RAPPER, LYRICIST, MC, OR WHAT EVER U WANNA CALL IT... i.e. REMEMBER THEM TRI FIVE NIGGAZ? SOLD ABOUT 25K COPIES AND WAS HOT GAABAGE! THE REAL QUESTION IS WHAT NIGGAZ DO U FEEL SHOULD KEEP DOIN IT AND WHICH NIGGAZ DO U FEEL SHOULD GO AHEAD AND BOW OUT GRACEFULLY... I READ A FEW NAMES ON THE LAST PAGES, THAT NIGGAZ SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO EVEN MENTION.. ALL IMMA SAY IS GET READY TO HEAR THE NAME "SONNY BO" A WHOLE LOT MORE... RAPPIN, PRODUCING, MIXING AND MASTERING.. THE GAME IS THICK! lol!

theres some real good music out here. just comes down to who puts in the work to get outa here and build relationships. i can guarantee you any artist that thinks hes just gonna sit back in sd and blow up is outa of his/her/they mind. you'll be a fam bam sensation for a good year. sd radio aint even gonna support you until someone in la tells/pays them to.

I dont wanna talk about with who and what i'll be doing, but i'm talking with the homie and im gonna host/executive produce an album and we're gonna give SD something they have never seen created yet. I think the person i'm in talks with has what yall wanna hear lyrically and i have the vision and blueprint to make sure the entire thing slaps and is some next level movie-script shit, but authentic SD to the core like rolled tacos, california burritos and bammer being sold on 12th and imperial..

Just do this for me. when yall see something with a cover thas drawn and not on that photoshop shit, every song slaps and the lyrics go harder than anyone you heard out in cali...and you hear somethin pushin the line for SD rap and music in general...support it...dont download it...make sure you pick the album up. we gon' do this for yall who want to see san diego rap take it to a level where you feel proud and shit.

maybe siccness will help a nigga out and put it in the shop when its all said and done.
you herd it here first...just be on the lookout....we gon keep it a secret but i hipped yall to game just now..

Beyond that, Rap Or Die signed a distribution deal with City Hall... So catch M.I.C, DJ Junk, And Gas One coming at yall on that other level with it...

oh and shout out to young sau and heaterville. stay busy, folks...

irocc also got some big things in the making...
I can d!g tha hell outta that. Holla...
