It would be nice if people used critical thinking to find they're own answers and not accept what is fed to us. Not to force your own agenda but for people to find it on their own and ask questions. But soon asking questions will be a form of terror is what people don't realize.

voting works to a certain degree... but after that, you also need to get your ass up and become involved in other ways. whether they be hassling your congressmen, attending city council meetings, or hitting the streets conducting civil disobedience. democracy doesnt mean stop at the ballot box.

They tested out Martial Law during the aftermath of Hurrican Katrina. They even had Dateline (or another one of those shows) follow a few troops around and see what they do. Anyone who didnt cooperate with troops during door-to-door inspections were OK'd to be shot on sight. THAT is martial law.
