i was wondering if anyone knew what started the beef between yukmouth and too short? did they go from having beef to making up and doing that song "funkin over nuthin" then having beef again and yukmouth making a song or more about too short on the album thugged out? whats the status now?

my thoughts: yukmouth is a coo rapper and i like his style but who the hell is he to diss the king of oakland. too short is a vet and will outlast pretty much anyone in this rap game.

also yukmouth made that song called something like "luv 2 hate" and to me it seems like he is the hater. he hates on too short for whatever reason and master p too. ya master p may not be the cleverist lyricist but he makes money and its ironic that on songs like "spray yourself" he tries to brag to master p of all people about what he has.

too short=tight yukmouth=tight master p=decent, but makes up for it with the money he makes.

Some one ban this cat.

you talkin out ya ass. short dissed luniz first i belive. not yuk. also yuk dissed master P because he stole the song ice cream man which was written by yuk while he was in juvi, with out giving the luniz or dru down any credit.

also too short aint the king of shit. he has no lyrics, he talks, not raps, talks, not raps, talks, not raps, talks. its like a book on tape.

yuk got lyrics flow delivery and come tight on damm near every song. short just spit the same thing over and over with no creativity. he did alot for california rap as a whole. but that dont mean he can spit.

Master P stole luniz/yuk song remeber that with out givin him any credit. and if you remember P was in richmond for a minute and alot of shit went down while he was there and after he left.

im not the best person to speak on this though, so everybody post the truth, thats it thats all.

Are you serious? Yukmouth can't come close to Too Short, Yukmouth has 0 classic albums. Too Short has 4. Look at all the platinum and gold albums Too Short has without the support of video and radio stations. Let Yukmouth put out an album that can fucc with 'Born To Mack' or 'Get In Where You Fit', but until then he can't fucc with Too Short. Too Short has simple lyrics, so the fucc what? He still makes great songs, that's all that matters. Yukmouth won't come close to it though as long as he keeps using that annoying fake ass raspy voice.

umm master p stole the name ice cream man from yuk... its not the same song.........then master p started biting a bunch of pacs steez which pretty much pissed off any and all oakland rappers who were freinds with pac......

and the beef started with dru down and short and eventually became short and the luniz........

i could go in much deeper detail, but yall not from around here..so yeah....

i didnt mean he stole it word for word he stole the idea and basicaly blew up off it taking all the credit for his self. also some people will argue that nsync got classic albums so what that make um classic.

name one thing short got on yuk besides record sales? Tim it seems like that the only artist you back are ones that sell.

short cant flow all he does is talk and about the same shit on every song bitch hoe bitch hoe bitch hoe. i mean shit be creative. that diss song by short was sad. i mean lyricaly sad. and all around sad

They squashed the beef then Short put out that song "Longevity" on the Cant Stay Away album. So now Yuk dissed Short and Scarface since Scarface was on the song. That's what started the shit up again.

Too Short is like Michael Jordan . . . no matter how old he gets . . . and how much game he loses over the years . . . if he quits and decides to go back . . .he will STILL be at the top of the game.

That and the fact that if you look what he's done in the rapgame and how many classic albums he's had . . . no one can beat him, not in my era anyway. I literally grew up on that shit . . . it's unfair to compare Too Short to someone like Yukmouth. Some call it just an opinion, not me . . .

damn i didn't know shit was gonna get this heated.

proppa if you banned everyone that had a question they wanted answered, this site would be closed. i dont know what the fuck your problem is. obviously if i knew the answer to this question i wouldn't have posted it. you have the nerve to say that im talking out of my ass, when i never claimed any of that shit to be gospel. notice how many question marks are in my post. then after all that you say "im not the best to speak on this."

tim, thanks for backing me up on short being the shit...nevermind short doesn't need back up, his sales and what the majority of people think of him is enough. anyways why the fuck am i so concerned with what people think of short? i dont even know. i think he's tight, everyone else can hate him for all i care.

fozzit, what speficaly, or as specific as you can be, did master p steal from pac. i'm not challenging your knowledge at all, i just see zero similarities and im sure you would agree.

@ anyone- was longevity aimed at yuk and on what song was scarface dissed?

finally, and like i stated before both too short and yuk are the shit to me. as far as there beef goes i dont give a shit what problems they have with each other i was just curious.

the end

oh yeah and TIm.. Operation Stackola is a Classic Album....
Though it was close I wouldn't call it a classic. Regardless I was referring to Yukmouth solo albums, neither one of them is above average.
