Ben Foster does with his acting ability what Michael Jordan did with his basketball ability.

That kid is light years beyond many big studio actors in terms of his emotional range.
I hated that movie the Mechanic with Jason Statham he was in. Not his fault, but that movie sucked.

He was awesome in that 3:10 to Yuma tho.

Look for a cameo from Prison Break's Dominic Purcell. That always surprises me to see him in such a small role that clearly wasn't meant to be a "zoom in close to the face" cameo.

Dylan Dog: Dead of Night

A comic book property that was very odd, but surprisingly good. There's something about Brandon Routh's voice in the film that I didn't like, though. It's almost like every one of his lines were dubbed. While other actors in the scene sounded like their voices were natural to their surroundings, his sounded like he recorded it in a sound booth and was edited back into the film.

The concept of the film is pretty cool, though, and given that this film didn't make a ton of money, the special effects were great except for the werewolf makeup. I'm pretty critical of werewolf FX, so don't hold much weight in my opinion.

The movie had zombies, vampires, werewolves, Peter Stormare, and a funny sidekick. Pretty good stuff.

I thought it was somewhat similar to Avatar. It was visually awesome but had a pretty mediocre storyline. Reportedly the 4th most expensive film ever made & a huge flop at the box office (not that that matters). Still worth seeing. 6.5/10

Safe House starring Denzel Washington & Ryan Reynolds

Slightly above-average action movie. Denzel played the "good guy/bad guy" role very well, as usual. It was worth seeing but I probably wouldn't watch it again. 6/10

Truth in 24

Good quality documentary. A few things I would have added would have made the movie longer and probably shrunk the broader appeal the movie was going for. Visually looks nice. Edited very well. Narated by Jason Statham.

really? the whole beginning of it made me feel like christian bale was a pussy and a whiner, and the ending was kind of like pffftt bullshiiiiiiit lol, it was so unbelievable and cheesy, even if you suspended your belief and realized it was just a movie it was still just ridiculously over the top would never happen in a trillion years, typical "good guy turns into super-hero with god-like abilities" "bad guys suddenly cant hit the broad side of a barn" action hero shit
I take it you don't watch westerns. thats what was so good about 3:10 is that it stayed true to it's roots. and my favorite Bale movie all time is The Prestige. i watch that movie like once a month

The Raid: Redemption

My kind of action movie you get pulled into it from the very first minute. I'll keep it short so I won't give out any spoilers so heres the trailer-

I saw this a while ago forgot to mention it, but I thought it was a really good film, colin farrel pulled it off very well tbh and the rest of the cast gave depth to the adventure.

i havent finished the session by watching 3 yet, i havent seen the movies in quite awhile so i needed some time to let it marinate after a 6 1/2 hour session of I & II lol.

somethings that are really resonating with me right now was how different the first movie was from the second, and how much michael has changed during that time. it seems in the first movie he killed the corrupt police chief and sollozo out of necessity. he wasnt neccessarily an evil man at that time, just a family man who had to do what he had to do to avenge his father and protect his family. but after apollonia (fuckin hot as hell by the way) gets killed he turns into a paranoid sociopath monster. i mean just one example that i can think of right now was how in the first movie you start off right away with this huge sense of family, everybody is laughing and its feels really good, music going people laughing and clapping at his sisters wedding. his father Vito had shit proper. in the beginning of II we see michael with the senator at his sons party and frank pentangeli is wondering where the hell the italian music is, he wants to drink and dance and clap because hes accustomed to how vito has had things. by the end of the movie michael is fully transformed, hes paranoid, he has destroyed his family completely with his greed and the pursuit of power. its just a stunning contrast and its really heavy. its such a drastic change and im not ready to watch 3 yet, ill give it some time, because i know 3 is pretty heavy as well.

anyway i could talk about the movies for quite awhile and theres not enough time so ill leave it at that for now

The Dilemma

Got about an hour in and stopped watching with any active interest. About an hour and twenty in just turned it off. This movie was so bad. Unfunny, uninteresting, I'd fault the actors, but they didn't have anything they could do with this trash. This movie should never have been made.

0 out of 5 because I couldn't even finish it.

latest cronenberg movie about jung, freud and this jew broad who first is jungs patient, then she wants to be a psychoanalyst too and becomes jungs mistress. i liked it, great cast, you really can feel the tension between characters, interesting movie and cronenberg is god. keira knightley have small tiddies :(
just saw this. it was well done but not a whole lot happened in the movie. keira knightley's areola's breh but that's all (she's all nips no tidds). great acting by fassbender, viggo was good, and knightley spazzed out fairly well lol. worth seeing once but i doubt i'd watch it again. 5.9/10
