@ColdBlooded

Thanks for clearing that up, I had this ignorant view that you were just this angry disgruntled guy who complained about every single movie there was lol. Sorry for generalizing and prejudging without knowing the facts.

@KrazeeRDM
Ok so maybe I was a little hard on that movie... but really? You couldn't pick up on the homosexual undertones in this movie? Like how Tom Cruise seduced that gay man with his eyes in one of the beginning scenes, the one where Louie tried to kill for the first time and the woman was screaming and Cruise had to run over and snap the girls neck and scold Pitt... not to mention how Antonio Banderas clearly wanted Louie as his partner. I mean it just screams gay in a ton of the scenes, also I learned after watching the movie that in Anne Rice's book Interview with the Vampire all of her characters are bisexual. If anything the homosexuality is toned down in interview with the vampire lol, but it is so obviously there. I dunno I can see why people would love this movie if they're into vampire lore and the time periods in which the movie takes place... but it was just a real bad movie to me. to each their own

This is true. Interview With A Vampire is gay erotica. Read the book. And I remember Anne Rice quoted in an interview that vampires drawing blood is like fucking between humans.

The gang promises to release them if Tae-shik makes a delivery for them, however it actually is a larger plot to eliminate a rival drug ring leader. When Hyo-jeon's disemboweled body is discovered, Tae-shik realizes that So-mi's life may also be in danger. Tae-shik becomes enraged at the prospect that So-mi may already be dead and prepares for a battle, putting his own life at risk. Written by Anonymous
ok, so the movie has the same overall feel as a couple other movies right off the top of my head, Leon (The Professional) for one, Man on Fire for two. but this is a korean subtitled movie so of course its a lot more raw and dark. overall i enjoyed watching this movie, people might find the ending kind of cheesy and feel-good but i enjoyed it. i recommend this movie if you liked the professional or man on fire

Troll Hunter

Subtitle warning. The title pretty much tells you what this movie is about. Kinda Blair Witch feel to it. Special effects were good for it being obviously lower budget. Acting was decent for the most part. Cool little troll mythology/fairy tail references throughout. Pace was a little slow, but over all I thought this was a good and creative movie.

3.5 out of 5

Just watched this. I felt it was extremely slow and boring and nothing really happened in this movie (other than a few trolls being hunted). I didn't mind the subtitles and I agree that the effects were pretty decent for the budget. The "fake documentary" style has been done to death and I just didn't really see the point of making this movie. It was pretty bad overall. Would never watch again. 2.5/10

It has a 7/10 on imdb though, so what do I know. Good for Norway lol

juat watched The Grey. very good movie. only things i didnt like about was the ending (expected more) and Liam's random swearing for no reason. it seemed out of place every time he swore. other than that i recommend it and i'll be buying this tomorrow.

American Psycho starring Christian Bale

I really enjoyed this movie. Christian Bale gave a very solid performance & you should definitely see it. The movie had good pacing to it; it didn't move too fast or too slow and was entertaining throughout. I recommend it. Gonna check out some other/older Bale movies now. 7.3/10
Equilibrium, Newsies, Empire of the Sun, The Machinist, The Prestige, Public Enemies, Harsh Times, Shaft(for the fuck of it and about the only comedy he's ever been in)

The Prestige was very, very good. I had also seen The Illusionist around the same time which was gay as hell so that probably helped it's cause.

One of the best movies with Christian Bale that people overlook is 3:10 to Yuma. That movie is sick. The Machinist wasn't terrible but I won't watch it again.

American Psycho is great. If you look at it for the point it's trying to make instead of just the entertainment value, it's a really good movie. Bale was a fool in that movie though. Had me crackin up

really? the whole beginning of it made me feel like christian bale was a pussy and a whiner, and the ending was kind of like pffftt bullshiiiiiiit lol, it was so unbelievable and cheesy, even if you suspended your belief and realized it was just a movie it was still just ridiculously over the top would never happen in a trillion years, typical "good guy turns into super-hero with god-like abilities" "bad guys suddenly cant hit the broad side of a barn" action hero shit

watched The Machinist last night. i thought it was pretty dope. Bale is a savage for losing so much weight and then on top of that getting up to batman status a year later. i would watch it again in a couple years. 6.7/10

A lot of movies are that way. I actually liked Bale's character in that movie and I normally don't like Russell Crowe but he was good in it too as was that Ben whatever the hell his name is.

Young Guns ends even less believable than this movie but it's still good
Ben Foster does with his acting ability what Michael Jordan did with his basketball ability.

That kid is light years beyond many big studio actors in terms of his emotional range.
