Leaves of Grass

Cool movie directed and written by Tim Blake Nelson starring Edward Norton as twin brothers on different sides of the law. It was pretty funny in parts, but more along the lines of being quirky. There were a few moments where you really had to suspend your disbelief because it got a little far-fetched, but it was overall an enjoyable experience. Plus, its basically about marijuana.

lincoln lawyer. Started off really good but when the twist came it was just too far fetched for me and I lost interest. pretty decent though, some good scenes in there, some bad ones too. And I just don't like Ryan Phillippe. Only time he was ever decent imo was in Crash. He did not fit the role he was playing at all in this film, totally out of place.

5.5/10.

Tell No One (Ne le dis à personne)

Really good French thriller. 4/5. It's also on Netflix.

Eight years ago, pediatrician Alexandre Beck (François Cluzet) was the prime suspect in his wife's murder. He's put all that behind him, but now that two dead bodies have been found near his home, he's suspected of wrongdoing once again. The case takes an unexpected turn when he receives an anonymous e-mail showing his wife alive -- and eight years older -- instructing him to "tell no one." Kristin Scott Thomas co-stars.

I think I watched that years ago on TV. Did his wife disappear in a lake while swimming?

Not enough boxing. The climax I felt was done well and was a good example of how to shoot boxing, but there wasn’t enough of it. I felt the story was uninteresting at most points. The main characters felt flat. Marky Mark brang nothing as an actor to the role. Bale was unimpressive other than the regular “oh look at his body transformation”. The film didn’t draw me in and make me invested in any of the characters so the dramatic portions that come later in the movie didn’t move me.

The movie did make me want to watch Ward v. Gatti.
