1. People were making money for the Ashley twins. They didn't even own their product line until this past year when they turned 18. Since they were kids they have been a part of a business owned and operated by the same people you believe are exploiting "blacks" for monetary gain. Like I said, they will exploit everyone, not just blacks. These girls were used.
2. What did Master P. do to get to where he is at. Did he sell drugs to make money, did he sell tapes out of his trunk, did he harass big name record labels? I don't know how much of his movie is true, but I do know one thing, he started from the very, very bottom of the chain.
I don't know much about Jay-Z. What I'm getting at is that you can teach kids to rely on the same opportunity that was available for these cats because in all likelihood, it will never come. And when this happens, they're going to wish they had an education to fall back on.
I'm not saying that if you are black you must start out at the bottom, I'm saying that for the most part, because you are black, you are probably already there. Those that are the product of their environment (low-income households/neighborhoods) will start from the bottom because they have no choice. Blackness has nothing to do with it, it's the way history has unfolded for many blacks.

Whether or not they license their own name means nothing when you have corporate devils telling them what a license is in the first place (if even that). Do you think they negotiated their license & contract? I can gaurantee every aspect of their business was handeled by someone their parents hired for them. So the answer to your question is no, they were not making money for themselves.
