my macbook hasn't crashed yet...

and a PC probably is the best bet if you're on a budget, but you better not be logging on to the siccness and downloading porn from limewire on it... internet accessability is one of the ways a PC can degenerate into complete shit

It's a trip because I've been there a hundred times and never saw this:

The new AMD dual processors have achieved over 100% better performance than Mac G5 and P4 systems on PTLE. With rock solid stability, they easily push past the 32 track/160 effects limit and currently provide more processing power than the current HD-3 core cards. These are all top quality components proven to work with 001, MBox, MBox2, 002, and 002R. PTLE 7.0 is needed to take advantage of dual core processing features. Thanks to Shane and fellow DUCers for all the research that went into this one. Nothing out there can touch this beast!

well if you wanna put Mac on your PC you can use Jas on it, im running it right now. right now demonoid is down so i cant show you which 1 of it that actually works (for AMD since thats what i have). right now AMD best looks like Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane 2.6GHz its 65nm compare to other AMD's which are 90nm. idk if AM2 socket company that makes them release them yet or not but you could get a dual-socket motherboard (not to get confuse with multicore processor these are 2 processors on 1 board) which be the way to go if all possible as far as other motherboard & video card, i notice a series with the name Fatal1ty they been factory overclocked and seem to work damn good. you can find a bigger list on newegg or tigerdirect. what kind of a budget do you have?
