I think Most of you are scared of the truth. Truth is 99% of the rest of the country thinks Mac Dre is Wack. They may respect what he has done but everybody back east I know thinks his music is pure garbage. Yall are sheltered by your own realities. Get out and travel. Aint nobody else feeling this Thizz/Hyphy shit .Maybe Kansas City but all them niggas are wanna be oaklanders anyways.

It has to do with the fact that since nobody feels his music like that, he would not make it to MTV or BET. Other than maybe the MTV Jams channel when they jumped on the hyphy thing for a few months. Or BET uncut. Not regular MTV or Regular BET programming. He'd have to drop some major payola to get play on them bullshit stations.

Naw, everyone is takin respect away from Dre by sayin that he only got big when he died. I really dont know anyone from the Bay that hated on Dre before he died. I started listening to Mac Dre around 2000, and he became my favorite rapper immediately and I honestly think hes the greatest ever, with his personality, style, and flow. Its makin Dre look like he had no following before he died. He had a huge following. He was already the most popular rapper in the Bay. If not already, he was becoming the most popular Bay artist in areas outside of the Bay. Its fucked up that Dre had to die, cause who honestly knows where his career would have gone? Maybe he would have been on MTV/BET, maybe he would have signed to a major label, maybe the Bay would have blown. Who really knows? Fact of the matter is, people are disrespectin Dre by sayin that he wasnt shit before he died. He was the truth. No one will ever, ever have swagger like Dre and rip the mic in that style that he did. He is the greatest ever, in my book and also in many others eyes. Too bad everyones fuckin up his name now and using him to prosper themselves. Its sad. RIP Mac Dre.

HE WAS THE OPPOSITE OF 50 CENT IN A GOOD WAY, HE WAS LIKE THE JEDI KNIGHT USING HIS NATURAL FORCE OF A REAL NIGGA AND DUMPING HIS JEDI MIND TRICKS ON THE DARK SIDE WICH I CONSIDER RAPPERS LIKE 50 CENT

^^^ where the fuck you live at mayn under a rock...mac dre been around since the late 80's must be either youngstas or straight backpackers if they aint heard of MD. off top though i think MD coulda made it to MTV and BET! shit a BIG ASS PERCENTAGE of his fans (thizz kids) just started knockin his shit post Thizzle Washington and alot of folks that dig his late music never even been up on bay rap. dude was a real ass cat, but at the same time a great entertainer that was original and had a straight swagga of his own that alot of people was feelin. all that topped off with a catchy track IMO woulda put Dre over the top. yall trippin sayin Dre blew the bay up though...E-40 and Lil John put the bay back on the map, but we definatley ain't blown up. when you see Quinn, FAB, Clyde, Ya Boy, Yuk, etc. all droppin gold plus albums then yall could say the bay blew up.

A lot of people that really like Mac Dre now probably wouldn't be as big of a fan if he made it on T.V.
True, I mean for a Bay rapper he's cool, but the rest of the country would be laughing at the Bay....again.
