Sorry homie but he is not dope. Thats my folks too Ive done work with him before but it is what it is. Just say you dont want to police your homies shit.

If Sonny Bo does songs that are not good I tell him thats what a true homie does and he dont sugar coat shit for me either.

Stormin's mixes are trash and is not mastred right you are not a true homie if you gone let him think that it is ok for his shit to sound like that.

I'm not gonna comment on his lyrical ability, I'm talkin about what he released.. Lets be real if u compared Food 4 a hater to Trigeration Station what would be the outcome? If you compared Food For A Hater to Sau's Dagorilla album or Double O Beezo's Album, or Shottie's album, or The League album, Skywalk's Beats Crown & Coke album what is the consensus?
It really sounds like Stormin is possibly just tryna keep a budget on it as well as maybe only keep it SE Daygo.

I really dont trip on quality, especially if they are underground artists. I just seen many homies struggle with money and I know some things get over looked or on a cheap budget.

On the other hand, when I see Big Wy put out "Damu Money"... that cover look like shit. Digital release or not. Big Wy should have spent more since I figure he is established.

Hands down, The League's quality is solid 100. That is no questions asked. Mixtapes, I dont expect them to be as quality as a normal album. But some people have made it decent enough.

If he had someone present the album that didn't do shit...what was that person suppose to do. Its the artists responsibility to get off their lazy asses and push the project. You can make up all the excuses in the world but there is no excuse for really bad quality....If you are recording on a computer and made the beats inside the computer and you can not at least get a decent clean sound...you shouldnt even be recording at all....It aint like you recording instruments and worrying about the right mic and its placement and the pre-amp for the job, inserting outboard compressors, limiters, etc. ..mixing down to tape and splicing tape to make edits
Storman is where he is at because of him...it aint no one elses fault...if you allow bad quality and blame it on the guy mixing then do something...dont just put shit out

As far as you hollerin and getting him on the right path...I respect what ya doin but let me give you some really good advice...do not waste your time. You will find yourself wasting alot of time that should be invested in your own career.

sounds nice to me. I feel what the homies are saying.

I hope he sees this constructive criticism and knows what to do. He might not have the budget and wanna do things his way, but at as Sonny Bo mentioned, hope he doesnt do it disrespectfully.

50cal has a point too. I know some artists in Daygo kan sit back and watch they shit sell, but you gotta get out there and grind.

Kambino does it and Sonny Bo does it.

all im sayin is...if somebody else with a bigger name decided 2 present me to the public eye, i would atleast want sum of the same production/artwork/features that he uses on his projects, so it can atleast look & sound presentable!(if that wasnt possible then at the end of the day that whole idea was jus a waste!)

dat's like sellin pro wings at a nike store...

goodfeed back makes a person grind harder...so maybe on stormins 2nd attempt he'll grind harder since he's not getting good feedback on his 1st attempt.

and im not goin 2 stop what i got goin on 2 focus on stormins shit, but any little thing i can do 4 da boy 2 make his shit better i willing 2 lend a hand.

that would be a whole different thread if we talked about niggaz 1st cd's bein' wack ass fuck...then ova the years they got better...
everybody can use improventment...but it doesnt happen over nite! 100

and peace & respect 2 da whole dago card!

:cool:True.. I see where ur goin wit that Gas. Also understand that comp was never released. It was somethin created to give some homies that didn't have any light, an opportunity to shine. Eryone fell back when it was x to pony up, so walk and I didnt feel obligated to put our dough into a project that featured artist that weren't interested in pushin it, therefore we didnt king kev the cover. And we made it a point to push the line for DueceFive.biz/Knock You Off Muzik since then.

Ery project we release has that seal of approval! But 2 be real, I practically give those vol 1 comps away. lol We made our cost back so no love lost... The difference is you don't hear me sayin that shit is the hardest shit in the town.? Its koo though.. When people ask me if i got songs wit more "homies" i say as a matter of fact i do, hear is that for you.
kome on my nigga we all 4rm tha same location..............some niggas do this n some niggas dothat.....baby skar and june put on 4 tha turf first so homage 2 both of them but it shouldnt be no blowning eachother......i personally stoped fukkin wit tha rap shit kause homiez got 2 many egos when we kan bring it all 2gether n brakk it off....yaw needa chop it up wit eachother 1 on 1...i fukk wit norm n let him know how i feel on some personal shit.....get money tho my niggaz!

I feel you my nigga, you know we got a koo history, so i respect ery word i viewed on this screen that u typed out. At this point I feel like i shouldn't have to move backwards to move forward though.

Understand before Feb of 09 erybody assumed I was done deal, was counted out, many disrespectfully declined to fuck wit the boy, some felt obliged to bite the swagg. A lot of disrespectful shit took place. I addressed it on "The Instruction Manual Mixtape", offered the uno to anybody that felt disrespected by it. I rode it out as a man is supposed 2.

Now that I'm back and have reclaimed my position I'm more interested in solidifying myself and building my brand http://DueceFive.biz/ Knock You Off Muzik. But like I said though I reached back 2 eryone that reached out to me.

i.e. Gold Macnificent, Rog Wit The Damuvement, the young homie bad karma from doubl[ee], Southern Soul Cat, LTS, C Money, J Loone, Syko YB, Oliver Reese, I even got a few giggers wit Juice Lee from 06. I reached out to T-Sixx personally, still w8n to see what the word is on that. The young Homie Boss Bick, I had a few convo's wit DoDo b4 he went back in. I reached out to Hogg 4 this Batkave album I been workin on.
But rather than w8 on anyone, I continue to move forward. I don't feel like I'm dissin Norman, i dont have no problems wit him, i was just givin my opinion. It's a lot of money to get out here. I want to see the town on by any means just as much as anyone else on here. Hopefully he reads all the criticism and does what he needs to do to improve his artistry. I'm doin the same right now.. Tryin to top Mack 2 The Future part 1! lol

Good look homey. On the real. I aint in Daygo, so I dont know what was going on.

That is one thing I give you on that end. You have tried to reach out to people. where is questions or explanations, you've done it. That is 100.

When I went down there, I really wanted every representative from the East to meet up with us. I wanted to make sure I kan involve them in a bigger picture that we are trying to paint for the West Coast (seattle to San Diego) And I feel many people have that voice and different perspective to help that idea be true.

I HAVENT HEARD THAT PROJECT, ONLY THE MAIN TRACK AND IT WAS COO, WE SPIN IT ON DAGOSD.COM.

IM GOIN BY THE WORK IVE DONE WITH HIM HOMIE. HE WAS DOPE AND EASY TO WORK WITH IN MY EXPERIANCE AND WE MIX AND MASTERED IT OURSELVES. I DONT SUGER COAT SHIT, I THINK HE'S DOPE. THIS THREAD IS CALLED ''WHUT DO U THINK OF STORMIN?..'' NOT ''WHUT DO U THINK OF HIS PROJECT?'' (WHICH I HAVE NOT HEARD YET) SO I STAND BEHIND WHUT I SAID BEFORE.. HE IS DOPE IN MY EYES. IF STORMIN WOULD CAME WACK ON THIS JOINT WE WOULDNT HAVE PUT IT ON OUR DEBUTE ALBUM.

You are as good as your last work folks. So your saying he is dope but he makes weak albums.
WHY IS THAT?

If you buy a Jay Z album and it sounds like that you would be on him tough because you took a L but since you havnt supported your homie and purchased is album yet (that has been out for months) you cant really talk. For a nigga like myself who has purchased his album I dont feel it. Its not up to par I can say whatever I want because I am the consumer. If we gone get on and make some noise in this rap game we have to have standards.

Good read Stormin. I didn't find the truth in all of your statements, but none the less, good read. I don't have anythng to prove, my muzik speaks for itself, so I'll leave that at that. As far as "over hanking" anyone in my camp, I'm not gonna go there either folks. LoL:rolleyes:

I'm not "mad" that my name wasn't mentioned in a song with 100 other documented homies. They givin niggaz all day + night, washin niggaz left & right. If i was a documented gang member i wouldn't have beat my last 3 cases. Along wit spendin my dough on releasing quality projects, I also spend it on a good legal defense. {My advice for any active young homie readin this is make sure u put some dough away for the day ur grind is compromised by the 1 x. }

But none the less, I wish you all the success with ur "Food For a Hater" project and any other you release. Get Money.. See you at the top Jack!
