What’s the bullshit? I don't understand what the big deal is. Skin is only a color. Should light skinned white people only have children with light skinned white people, and not darker white people? Only dark blacks can have children with other dark blacks?

This kind of mentality is ridiculous. Why don't you step out of the dark ages and join us in the year 2004?

Read a book or two...maybe about science, math, physics etc. and stop watching jerry springer.

That is because we (humans) made race more than just skin color, not because of it's natural effects on people. The way we have treated "colors" differently in this world and because of the barriers built by supremacists throughout this country, race means more than just color. What you see today, the existance of what seems to be a link between skin color and the human thought process, is a direct result of humans creating this great big conflict between different races. Because white supremacist's have dehumanized blacks throughout history, a lot of black people are going to be mentally affected by every day occurances regarding their skin color when associating with some white skinned people. I (we clowns) are going deeper then that. Skin color in itself, has no link to the way humans think or act; it is how we treat the color of skin and how we embrace it that makes it significant in our society. But in reality, it is something that humans conjured up to seperate people; it is just not real.

I am white, and I am being real when i say this. I dont see someones race until it is pointed out to me. we are all the same IMO and I'll date/marry whatever beautiful/intelligent girl I connect with, no matter what color it they are

i'm attracted to different cultures in general, mainly because i love to learn and see something new. that goes for everything from food to funny colored "southwestern" soap dispensers in the bathroom to homies to ladies. staying with that, yes, i am strongly for interracial relationships. i tend to be attracted to people that have a different lifestyle (for lack of a better expression) than i, and yes, just like some people prefer blondes to brunettes, i prefer darker skin to light skin. but i doubt appearance is as much a debate here as is cultural integration (ha). i really don't see cultural integration having a negative effect either. if anything, it will create more tolerance and understanding in this fucked up world we have right now.

but whatever...

Means nothing to me. People are just people. In my life I've dated women from a myriad of races, cultures, nationalities, geographical locations, social standing, economical position, etc, etc, etc. Chicks are chicks. Yes, certain broad stereotypes can be linked to "race", but then, so can many be linked to culture, economical position, and hell, what part of the city they live in.

Look; I'm attracted to thick chicks. I like a nice round ass and thick thighs. So does that mean I only date sistas? No, believe me - onions come in all shades. So maybe you're a titty-man or a long-curly-hair guy - neither of these nails you down to a certain skin pigment of women. The very notion is rediculous.

If you are paring down your potential mate pool by color, you are seriously dumbing down your life expierence points.

Also, could we get you, Been Drinkin, to clarify what you meant by, "...because it causes to much trouble."

What trouble would that be?

Probably becuase I know so many skinz and white power folks who told me the way they think and why they think it. I'm not implying that your racist at all..just stating that I understand where you are comming from. My girlfriend is half black, half white -- her skin is pretty dark though. I tend to prefer light skin (caucasian/mexican), but I obviously don't live by those standards. If I'm attracted to a female, I'm gonna do my thang regardless. If she has a cool personality, and she looks decent, then thats all that matters. My girlfriend is one of the most beautiful women on this planet, and I don't regret a single solitary day of being with her (two years this may). I am all for inter-racial relationships as long as it's for the right reasons, by that I mean extending further then physical attrraction.

I'm not saying that to be racist, but when they came over and had inter-racial relationships that fucked us up in many ways.

1. diseases/cancer
2. physique
3. food

There was no such thing as heart disease, diabiti(sp), flu, or any of that other shit in the pacific until white people showed up and had inter-racial relationships.

Our culture in the art of tattoo's almost vanished because of the religion white people brought over.

I don't care if anyone dates outside their race, I just don't like when they forget who the fuck they are and the language/history/culture of their ancestors just because their dating outside their race.
