he hasn't lost anything talent wise, so I can't see how he's getting worse. And me, I don't mind his subject matter at all. I agree what made Tech great was his originality and his different approach to the rap game, but he's still making good music no matter if it's a deep personal song, or a paper thin party track. So I can't complain one bit. And I bet K.O.D might be on some other shit.

okay this is gonna be my long post beause im at work and im feeling alittle opinonated.......
as a producer and a rapper and a avid msic lover...you have to understand that your not gonna like all tech's shit.... PEOPLE CHANGE and they write and feel different emotions.....and visa versa as a listener you change........... your favorite song in '96 may or may not be your favorite song in '09...... listen to how music has evolved just since 2002 .......If tech didn't change and wasn't inovative and also stayed true to him self i woulda stoped listening to him way before he ever had a chance to hear a matic lee beat... being that he is so versitle is a gift and a curse.. i don't like evrything tech does (there isn't much that i don't like ) but i accept that....I understand as and artist its hard to please everyone......thants why i made "never be".....the shit an't easy especially when you strive to create the best music possible.........You can't be everthing to everyone so you might as well be somebody.....Critiquing is cool but damn you can't expect something to never change...LOOK AT THE SHIT EMINEM IS DOING.....i don't like it but i understand why he is doing it....after 4/5 years ...you grow up

as far as the "technical" side of writing ( rhyme structure and multis an shit) tech is the best he has ever been.
as far as delivery and content, at times it seems like he is losing his intensity and i dont want to say passion, but it seems like he isnt trying as much...

Matic, I agree with u completley. Music changes, people change. Thru out your life your gonna encounter different feelings, emotions, ideas, and mindstates. Tech's newer music differing from his older music is a dynamic that almost all musicians expierence thru their career...fans being dissaopointed at a musican's new music becuase its different from their old music happens all the time. I understand some people despise tech's style chaingin, and some people merely point it out. But if people don't like his newer shit, then they need to play more of his older shit and stop listening to the new stuff.
