The black QB thing seems to be disappearing, the National Championship game LSU vs. OSU had two black QBs square off, but the sign of progress wasn't that they were on the field, but that I don't think there was hardly any media attention on that, no stupid little stories or anything, I remember it being just 100% football and nobody seemed to notice which is good.

I'm the type of person who feels people put too much emphasis on race. I know it's a big issue, but people are people in my book. There are plenty of big-impact African American players who are highly responsible for every championship team, but whether or not a black man has won a SuperBowl at the QB position doesn't mean anything to me. I don't know.. maybe it's just me.

I remember hearing that Jim Plunkett was half Mexican and half Native American. I could be wrong, but I remember hearing that around 1983 after the Raiders beat the Redskins in the Super Bowl.

Steve McNair This Year

I really believe McNair is going to get his ring this year. Being a Steeler fan, it's hard for me to admit the Ratbirds are going to win the Super Bowl this year. I really don't see anyone beating them, except maybe San Diego. Faultymore's Defense is hella vicious this year and now they have a balanced offense with McNair.

In my opinion the black QB's that have a great chance in the future are:

Byron Leftwich - Jacksonville Jaguars

Jason Campbell - Washington Redskins (If he starts next year and on)

Donavan McNabb - Philadelphia Eagles
