soulja boy made a one hit wonder in my opinion but it took a majors push and budget to get it. i cant knock him, hes getting it. he had the image and got picked up by someone with money. the key to success is money. jay-z legacy is based on consistency not an album. thats what i meant.

lol your right.

You sound to un-informed to be a radio station rep...
i dont follow the stories of all the artists. im not a groupie like half the posters and artists on this site. but with a comment like that you must be taking things personell. it isnt my fault. im just an opinion like everyone else on this website.

explain how im uniformed. thanks ahead of time.

p.s. i feel the frontline is the most talented group in the bay. i cant believe no one has mentioned them yet. they are the most overall sound group in my opinion.

u brought up some very correct points about AP.9. for most of his career he has been way too gangsta for radio and for the general public. however his last few albums have been geared more and more to a broader audience. his last album (respect my gangsta) had 2 songs that were made specifically for radio (daddy is a gangster and raockstar mobbin). AP.9 finally sees that its okay to keep it gangsta all day long as long as he gives us a few tracks for the ladies and or for radio. we have made huge strides in the last 2 years with the direction of his career and we are very excited about his new album "the grinch" which also has several radio freindly tracks on it as well. we have gotten a lot more attention from music industry peeps in the last few months than we had in several years. look for 2008 to be a break out year for AP.9 and for mob shop entertainment... thanks for your feedback and advice

bodyshots was AP.9s last good album anything after that been half ass quality music and that's real not a opinion.but i know ap got good music still in him . killa tay had his chance around snake eyes when he drop that it was huge in the streets .i think when he drop thug religion it threw his fan base off ,to me thug religion was his best album at the time .

Ill bet on Jacka, Clyde & Fabby although i belieave alot more could make it mainstream if they really wanted to.

Jacka getting more known thanks to his ties with Cormega.

Fabby cos of his links with Short & Snoop

& Clyde has had his song in a movie and is/was affiliated wit BWS and its featuring with alot of mainstream artist.

But the majors will prob come and scoop the worst rappers from the bay and give them a chance and then the Bay will be ignored for a next decade or so lol.

I would go with the Jacka...I think people outside the Bay would really start feelin' him. AP. 9 is already kinda known, not mainstream, but I think the Jack would def. be able to appeal to a lot of people as far as his music goes. Especially if they introduce that new single across the market. Kinda pop-rappish... As far as radio, tv, and the like, I think Clyde Carson. He just seems like that type of person that the mainstream might push.

The Jacka
Pros- He puts out the best music from the Bay imo. Can appeal to the streets and to mainstream audience without making a dance song. Smooth flow and usually chooses nice production. East Coast connections.
Cons- He's not gonna blow up with one song...you really gotta listen to his albums to get into his music.

Clyde Carson
Pros- Complete package for the mainstream, he can make radio friendly songs without making them corny, appears to be a very good business man, can appeal to the streets and mainstream. Affiliated with BWS.
Cons- Has not yet put out a solo album so who knows how he is as a solo artist

Ya Boy
Pros- Nice flow and great punchlines. Style isn't limited to the Bay. Affiliation with The Game gave him exposure.
Cons- Limited subject matter and unrealistic rhymes don't do it for me. The kids will still enjoy it but it got old real quick.

Messy Marv
Pros- Must have a great work ethic to put out as many projects as he has, can create hits for the streets, networks with artists in the south.
Cons- Can he stay out of jail? Will playing with his nose eventually bring him down as an artist?

Mistah F.A.B.
Pros- Has an image that can appeal to kids all over the country, can make some real songs, already has some exposure to the mainstream.
Cons- Simple rhymes, not respected as an artist by many, can sound corny at times.

I could keep going but I'm tired.
