Week 3: Denver Broncos @ Oakland Raiders

that game was back and forth like a cameo song, and whoever had ball at the end was gonna win.....just like all the games we play at arrowhead (see LJs 4th & goal TD a couple of years back and plus last years game)
chiefs were able to move the ball on us by mixing up the play calls and their O line played really good. if not for huff's 2 picks, those might have very well been some drives the chiefs could have scored on.
that game we played standard raider football, barely enough to win, and tons of penalties. of course they were offsides calls because of crowd noise, but they came at piviotal times in the middlel of some really good drives....sheesh, thats what silent count is for fellas!
perhaps being at home was a difference in how the raiders played....we will see against the donks

Man sudays game is way up in the air with the way our offense has been playing. We lost Gallery to a broken leg, Cornell Green jumps offsides like 5 times a game, we have not run the ball like we should be in both of the last games, and JR stares down recievers and still over throws them all day. So I think it will be a low scoring game very hard hitting but low scoring 17 - 13 Raiders.

what i'm saying is in order for the raiders to become a good team they need to win games like this. teams sometimes tend to play down to their opponents. a win is a win in the w-l column. how you win doesnt matter.
as a life long raider fan that has been very dissapointed the last 6 or so years, i cant remember the last time we won a game in this fashion.(comeback)
as bad as russell has looked, the kid is doing things these last two weeks no raider QB was able to do since rich gannon. not that we have had quality guys at the position. I understand the frustration because i too am frustrated by JR's play. but he does show signs of being exceptional in this league. hopefully he starts putting it together.

normally its the opposite, where we have the lead and then lose it in the 4th.
when kiffin was head coach we had the lead going into the 4th quarter of 75% of the games he coached. our prob then was an inept defensive coordinator that switched our scheme into a retarded prevent in the 4th that got picked apart every time by opposing qb's.
anyways, its def a quality to step up when it counts the most on the final drives but if he was even 20% more accurate we probably wouldnt even be in that final drive situation.
