i understand everything clearly, i'm speaking from a general perspective not only as a raider fan.
we played down vs the chiefs. allowing the chiefs to dominate us after dominating a superior team; is definitely playing down. now go sit in ur corner.

you need to take those raider shades off and take a good look at your fucking team with an open mind.
what does it exactly say about your squad if they just gave up 400+ yards to a socalled bottom feeding team then? a team who i might add a week earlier played a similar close game in the closing minutes to a FAR superior team (Ravens) in their house who i also might add just BEAT the same "superior" team your Raiders LOST to at HOME on Monday Night the week before.
Raiders DID NOT play down to the Chiefs level at all...give credit where credit is due is all im saying.

we didn't "play down" to the Chiefs, we just played like flat out shit, we played worse than the chiefs... they dominated us in basically every category that game, I'm still almost not sure how we won
I said it before and I'll say it again, we were lucky to get a win there... just like in SD, we outplayed them most of the game, but they came through with a winning drive... KC outplayed us the whole game, and we came through with a winning drive
I don't think we'll play that bad all season, I just think it was a bad game for us
I do gotta say I'm happy we were able to close out a tight game, because that's something we haven't been able to... looking at out wins last season all our games we won were won by a pretty good margin... the only close game we won was against the Jets.. all our other close games we lost... so this shows us we can close out games, even when we play like shit

and I think the "playing down" thing would make more sense if it was a team like the Steelers playing bad against KC
even though we're considered by many to be improved (minus our QB) and we almost pulled off a win against SD week 1... we're still one of the weaker teams in the NFL... as is KC

the dolphins went from 1-15 to the playoffs 11-5.
i dont go off generalizations, i predict the future and bet on it. and i'm successful at it.
"everybody" generalized the jets as a terrible team coming into this season, yet they're 2-0 and just beat the patriots.
"everybody" generalized the packers as an elite team, yet the bengals just beat them in green bay.
the titans are 0-2 when they started the season 10-0 last year.
you 2 can assume your teams are shit, good for you, i dont care. i often disagree with "experts" on tv too, and am more often correct than them.
i need more games to fully judge what this raiders team is currently. we've played 2 very different games and while JR has been the biggest weakness and the worst QB in the nfl, he did manage to put a drive together when it counted in both games.
its the raiders coaching i havent figured out yet, a lot of analysts and players like cable but i havent heard much about any of the assistants and its always been foggy trying to decipher who is really in control, coaches or mr d.
i do feel like this team has the potential to the be the best raider team since 2002, i bet on the raiders to beat the chargers straight up, no 10 point spread. and we nearly did. and this is why i still say we played down to the chiefs even tho they "overachieved" or "played hard" or whatever else a chiefs fan would want to call it. we got outplayed because we played down. had we played up to our potential it would not have been close. done.

just for the record... I actually felt like the Jets were gonna be a pretty good team this season... and also for the record I never thought Green Bay was gonna be a great team like other people
