I thought this showed a lot about the Niners. I'm very impressed in the improvement they've shown so far this year. I think they're going to be scary in a year or two if they get a few more pieces (WR, possibly a solid QB) and keep their core.

As far as that play...wow. A split-second later, Favre is hit. Or a foot to the left/right with the pass...who knows? Great concentration to get the 2nd foot in, though...

And, just a thought: I don't know if anyone's asked this, but I wonder ''what if''...what IF the Niners had taken Percy Harvin with the 10th pick, instead of Crabtree?

Oh...and btw, Percy > Crabtree, like I said before the draft. LOL

damn good game

fuckin favre is the miracle man sometimes, props to the niners, as much as i would love to tell you they suck, they dont. and would be pure hate if i said that. there D is pretty damn good. there offense is descent a few more peices to the puzzle and the 9ers are gonna be scary, as long as they keep most of there D, things are gonna look bright for the niners in a few years.

ehh prolly cause of the bullshit East coast bias, i still think Percy is gonna be a beast in this league
no...no east coast bias.

it's just that sanchez is gonna be pretty good. he has great mechanics, pocket awareness and mobility...

he already led the jets into knocking off the patriots and titans...

Tough loss

Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier was obviously happy to win but felt a little sorry for his close friend and former Chicago Bears teammate, 49ers coach Mike Singletary.

"Yes, it's tough. You know, when we're not playing I'm always rooting for him," Frazier said. "And, when we're not playing he's rooting for us."

Asked how he felt about the performance of the Vikings defense, Frazier said: "We did a lot of good things, but we gave up a couple of drives there that we can't give up. So we've got to go back and take a look at the tape and figure out how we can stop that from happening.

Sing is a Vikings fan! lol nah but i think hes got the niners goin in the right direction

Yes, it is. He was under duress and the receiver barely got his second foot in....
No, it's not a one in a million play. I'll prove it to you. Considering the average number of plays an NFL team runs in a game, multiplied by amount of teams in the NFL and games in a season, there have only been approximately 285.696 plays run in the NFL since this Favre pass / Freeman catch from 2000:

and there have been tons of other "miracle" plays besides that since then... but that one just sticks out in my mind because of how heartbreaking it was at the time... amazing how things come full circle.. LOL
