I'm glad peolpe are starting to see the truth. You have to almost 40yrs old, weight drained, or coming off a lost to fight Manny. I'm happy to see Mayweather fighting again, and i'm happy that he's letting a young prime lion get his chance to shine.

The great thing about boxing is that this shit will be settled in the ring.

Mayweather is a great fighter (was). He is undefeated. But I am banking on the fact that he hasn't fought in a very long time and hoping these civil matters (wifey) has kept him distracted. I believe he will not take Ortiz serious and will lose.

I don't believe Ortiz will out box him or even that Ortiz is the better Boxer.

my opinion

Why wouldnt you want Ortiz to fight the best Mayweather possible? Wouldnt you want Ortiz to earn a respectable win?

props to ortiz homie deserves all the money & hype he's gonna get off this fight and props to mayweather to stepping in the ring after a long layoff with a hungry young fighter that's in his prime unlike manny who continues to fight slow past their prime chorizo ass fighters.
wow. ur acting like pac hasnt been wanting to fight floyd. atleast pac fights. just hope ortiz doesnt give up in 6 rounds like he did with maidana. glad to see floyd finally come out of vacation and think about boxing.

ortiz beats a sub par fighter like berto and all of sudden he is in his prime berto was over hyped dude didnt fight no top competition
Ortiz is the one being under-hyped again here. That "no heart" talk really got to him and I truly believe it motivated him more then anyone will ever know. Dude has been through alot in his life, he will not let this chance slip through his fingertips imo. Floyd better take him seriously or that 0 will be no more.

This fight should shut up the people that always said mayweather only fights big money low risk fights... This is a huge risk for Floyd and he's making this a tune up fight for Manny
A huge risk? Ortiz quit against Maidana. Let's not get carried away with the Berto victory. Pac, May, Mosely, Marg, and Cotto stops Berto under 9 rounds.
