thats cool and i know a lot of people dont like what happened to the dogs but i dont give a fuck what he does OFF the field. he could snatch purses from old ladies and rob santa at the mall while hes ringin a fucking bell panhandling for change for all i give a fuck. just like LT or ray lewis i really dont give a shit what they do thats theyre business.

I think people have a more emotional attachment to sports figures than actors, as demonstrated by Cavalier fans, so this analogy may be unfair. Also, Vick isn't pretending to be someone else for 2 hours...Mel is. Vick is Vick no matter what.

Youre right, because Sicx' kids have to live their lives knowing what their father AND mother did to them, and are psychologically fucked forever. At least the dogs died and no longer have to live with the pain Vick inflicted on them.

if people want that deep emotional attachment thats on them. vick is vick til he steps on the field. then hes a member of a cast of characters performing on a stage for millions of people. i dont see the difference between him and mel gibson. just because mel fakes what hes doing hes still getting paid to entertain people. i dont think what theyre doing for those 2 or 3 hours entertaining people matters in the grand scheme of things. why is it easier to ignore one entertainer over another?

phillys oline isnt great either. i said it before the season and was laughed at for suggesting the cowboys would be better with vick than romo. i stand by that. no vick team would ever go 1-7. jones actually tried to sign him last year before the eagles came with the better offer. i know hes kicking himself for lowballing him now.
