I will be the first to admit that I never expected Vick to become an actual QB, rather than an athlete who can toss the ball around. Last night seemed to be a "coming out" party of sorts for him, showing everyone what he has become. Its performances like that that make people forget what he did, and when they do remember, they say "he paid his debt to society". I am one of those people.

Last night, was one of the most spectacular performances by ANY NFL player, I have seen with my own eyes. He was amazing. Steve Young, in the post-game show, went on and on about how he thinks Vick is the re-incarnation of Jesus. I dont think I have ever heard anyone gush about a player like that.....ever. It was almost embarrassing.

Congrats to Vick, for becoming an NFL QB, for learning life lessons, and for giving everyone in fantasy football a large amount of points last night.

i will admit im wrong...somewhat! he looked like an nfl qb against redskins (shanahan) defense. most year he's still been doing it with feet more then arm.

p.s. I did start him last night was down 25 and won by 30

I got home kind of late and when I turned on the T.V., it was 28-0 still in the 1st quarter. I thought McNabb probably threw some picks that got returned. Then they started showing the highlights, Vick is a beast. He's still fast but he's a better qb. I guess going to the pen for a few years was the best thing that happend to him for his career. I was thinking the Raiders are going to have to see Philly in the SuperBowl.

Vick's always had athleticism and I never hated on him because I don't care about dogs. I guess going to jail was a good thing for him, helped him reflect on life and now he's even better than before.

he was always good but going to prison forced him to put his life in order and prioritize, which has led him to improvement. he admitted that he let game dvds pile up in his car. its amazing he accomplished what he did with little effort. if you watched the games you saw the ability to be a great qb just not the consistency. a LOT of that had to do with the lack of playmakers on the team and a horrible offensive scheme led by greg knapp. ive watched every game vick has ever played. hes always been good and we as falcon fans always wanted to see him play alongside great receivers with an offensive scheme as successful as reids. i still remember randy moss practically begging to come to atlanta before he was traded to oakland. arthur blank told him to fuck off. thats all vick needed was complimentary pieces. he never had a reggie wayne or andre johnson to throw to.

nice to see him accomplish what a lot of us knew he was capable of.

he hasnt been doing it with his feet. there you go again scary speaking on vick when you dont watch every one of his games. he has only ran when he had to, even sometimes he hasnt ran when HE SHOULD HAVE. this is the vick i always said you would see with a competent offensive coordinator and playmaking wrs. vick never had a problem with accuracy until knapp showed up. look at his only season under dan reeves. that was his best season in the nfl. that doesnt strike you as odd? people say defenses figured vick out. no they didnt. they figured out that his offensive coordinator was garbage and that his receivers couldnt get separation against an fcs colleges squad and when they did they would drop the ball.

hes passing has been looking great all year, ive been watching him all season and just because he went for 6 tds doesnt mean this is his coming out party, that was when Kolb got benched because andy knew he couldnt take this guy off the field...every1 including myself thought he would hit a wall sumwhere but it looks like hes getting more and more comfortable....

and save the shit "it was vs the redskins"....all divisional games are played tough even in the NFC west......every player on defense didnt know what was coming, his first start this year vs the redskins coulda been just as good had he not cracked his ribs......

hes a fuckin beast......period and im glad all the clowns in my FF leauge passed him on the waiver wire and he fell into my lap for the $2.00 add/drop fee......i woulda put $20+ bid after i heard andy ried say he was the starter....

Yeah I was surprised that he was still on the WW in my league after week 2. Picked him up right away and he's been pitbull vicious.

Roddy White wasn't that good back then? Or was that just because of Knapp? I swear back then when Vick was with the Falcons the receivers couldn't catch.

actually i have watched most thier games between having vik and mccoy in fantasy and my son having jackson, we watch plenty of games. he has been good, but still nothing like lastnight. his other "good" passing games were detroit and jacksonville, both if which he took 3+ sacks and had less than 300 yards in still...outside that he did more with feet than passing the other games.

Are you sure about that? He was just under 60%. Either way, he only passed 152 times. In fact, I know its not true because Chris Weinke had a higher percentage than he did at 61%.

But yes, that game was incredible...nearly took my Noles out all by himself!

youre right it was just passer rating but vick never had bad completion percentages until knapp took over. his first year in atlanta was his best statistically. he was ruined by the coaching regime put in place

no roddy was garbage. even the front office came to the conclusion that he might not ever make it in the nfl. then his momma and joe horn got involved. its a great story look it up. vick got the blame for roddy but roddy was at fault.
