i dont mean just blu-rays only i meant movies. so yea, like store DVD's and shit on your system too.

a lot of people really buy into that playstation3 or xbox360 being sold as a "media center", its all just marketing by sony and microsoft but people really fall into that trap lol, like they fall into the SmartTV trap. they store a ton of pictures / movies / music on their systems to show off on their big ass tv's. ive had it happen before, someone just starts showing me pictures of shit that they have saved on their xbox. some pictures with high quality can be really really big, like 1gb per picture.

Being a guy with a 4 gig system and an 8 gig memory stick for a backup, I'm telling you right now that I'd love to have a 300+ gig HDD. Shit is so much easier to deal with that way. For the longest time, I didn't load up the memory stick, so I didn't have all my gamer points, and if I want to download a file directly to the memory stick, I may as well leave the house for the day because it takes two times as long to transfer files into the stick as it does the system.

20 gig xbox here which in reality is only 13 gig because 7 gig is devoted to the OS and code. I have Bastion and DLC from ME 1 and 2 as well as Gears 1 and 2 eating up HD space so I only have enough room to store one game.

Whats the deal with using USB drives with the 360 now? Does it have to be NTFS or FAT 32 format?

My friend got the gears of war 3 console shit came with adam fenix dlc and weapon skins, also 2 gears of war controllers and game inside, same amount of gb. You fucked up and got the wrong console.

I used to have a shitty 15gig one but it blew up, so the only new ones are 250 gig

It can be whatever because the xbox gives you an option to reformat it into whatever xbox uses.

I don't even install games so a 320 is a welcome addition. OK, so say I have a drive thats 1tb in size and I partition it. Can I use one of those partitions for the xbox shit or will the xbox reformat the entire physical drive and not just the partition?

I'm gonna try it with a new drive I pick up cause I need to back up some beats and shit. I'll just do a dummy partition and then see what happens. But I know the 360 and ps3 have never read my ntfs drives before so I'll stick to fat 32.

I wouldn't want to use the whole 1tb. If I can use 16gb thats cool. My only problem is will it force me to reformat the entire physical drive, meaning the 1tb drive, or will it work if I simply make a 16gb partition. Thats what I don't understand.

Went ahead and picked up the MW3 bundle. The MW3 looks ugly as hell but the rest of the consoles design is sick! Package cost 300$, comes with the console, game, 2 controllers, 320GB HDD, and headphones. Pretty good price for what you get.

I'm not a COD fan ...but I do like MW2 and heard that MW3 picks up exactly where MW2 left off.

I don't care for pretty much any other COD game and I've played most of them (WAW, BLOPS, MW1) so I hope 3 carries over some of the magic.

So for the record, so far the campaign sucks ass.

Guess MW2 is meant to be the one and only COD game I actually like.
