China portrays its image to the outside world as communist but in reality it's more like a hybrid of capitalism/communism, correct me if I'm wrong

as a whole? naw. but there will definitely be parts of it that resemble a 3rd world country. shit, theres already some places that look that way
Nothing in the U.S. looks like a 3rd world country. In fact, the WORST parts of the U.S. don't even resemble a lot of places in Eastern Europe. What's BAD here, is cake to most of the world. We're so spoiled here, it's ridiculous. Granted, there are bad places in this country...but really, it's nothing compared to the shit many other countries go through.

China still has communist law. Its a communist society, its economy is no longer communist. They've opened up their economy to the markets. They say they plan on goin back to a communist economy eventually but thats never going to happen, their economy is too strong now.

And i dont really want to pay for other people to have health care who can prevent alot of their own health problems. People need to stop eating fast food and being fucking lazy then they wont have so many health problems. Kids should all have health care but not their fat lazy parents. The vast majority of Americans' health issues are preventable.

yes there are parts of the USA that are fucked up already. But we're still a bunch of spoiled as brats that compared to the rest of the planet, we live pretty fuckin good. but seriously bro, how much longer you think thats gonna last over here, we just consume and consume, waste energy, waste water, waste food, our childrens are wasting their lives on drugs and not learning a goddamn thing. TV don't help shit. Soon theres not gonna be anybody left smart enough to run our country. we're about to get a real fuckin wake up call.
Everybody says, "Why would you wanna live anywhere else, this is America"
Soon everybodies gonna be like "Fuck America why would you wanna go there"

You know how easy it would be for our governement to say FUCK'UM ALL. Pull the plug on America. And let everything go to shit. Lets just hand them over to China. lol

I dont know bro....Who really knows anything anymore.

I just wanna drink 40'z and watch DVD's. I don't know whats wrong with me anymore. I feel bitter at times, everyday i grow angry towards life, not necessarily to what/who i've become and made of myself, but more towards of how life is going to make us later down the road....Just passing time and waiting for the Revolution to come. But when it does come. I will be ready.

The problem is that we always compare ourselves to 3rd world nations when we should be comparing ourselves to Western Europe, Canada, Australia, etc.; We come up short alot of times when debating what those other 1st world nations afford their people compared to what are 1st world nation affords us.

Proof? Or are you just making shit up again?
you dont think peoples heart problems, high blood pressure, and other problems linked to obesity are preventable? Heart disease is the #1 killer in America and heart disease is caused by high cholesterol, high blood pressure, bad diet, lack of exercise ect. those are preventable for most people. Obviously some people are born with heart defects but most of the time its their own fault. I read an article last week that said an estimated $18 Billion could be saved a year if people cut their sodium intake to the recommended levels. (http://www.upi.com/Health_News/2009/09/14/Dropping-salt-intake-can-save-18-billion/UPI-59541252939122/ ) ALOT of healthcare costs could be cut if people start living healthy and stop being fuckin lazy and eating shit all the time

Exactly. But when somebody says parts of this country look like a 3rd world nation...it has to be stated that...NO PART of this country resembled a 3rd world country. That's a whole new world right there. Some shit the hardest cats on the block wouldn't be able to fuck with.

You're right though, we need to be compared to other Western Countries. And to be honest, the fucked up part is that we did this to ourselves. Not necessarily the government, either. The people of this country fuck it up just as much.

But you're also confusing "health" with keeping up with ones health. Healthcare covers shit like terminal illnesses and accidents. You can get cancer without even knowing WHY you got it. Breast cancer is hereditary. Heart disease is HEREDITARY. What if a woman is raped and she gets HEPC? Is it her fault? What about a kid playing with his friends and a drunk driver hits him and paralyzes him? Is that the kids fault for the driver being errant?

What about birth? Giving birth happens something like every 17 seconds in the US...do we not supply mothers with insurance for that? How about regular checkups and mamograms? Yearly prostate checkups for men over 35? What about vaccinations for kids?

This is absolutely 100% true. My mom has issues because of her past salt intake, and now has to use a salt substitute because of her BP. That's her fault, not anybody else's. She used to pour that shit on her food, while the rest of us used it lightly (if at all).

We also have obese children that don't play, they have diabetes by the time they are 10, parents are too lazy to cook so Ronald McDonald feeds them every night. If it's not that, it's a frozen dinner. We have a strict age limit on alcohol consumption which leads to more alcoholism later in life. If you go to Europe, they drink alcohol from the time they are little kids, therefore cutting the urge to binge drink as adults.

So yea, it is our fault. Unhealthy habits lead to unhealthy lives. We eat shit, we drink, we smoke, we live fast, we stress, and we're lazy. This leads to an increase in diabetes, stress related illness, heart disease, stroke, etc. etc. To top it off, we like to blame others for our mistakes. For example, lady spills hot coffee on herself and sues McDonald's for making hot coffee. People get lung cancer and sue cigarette companies...people get diabetes and demand healthier menus at fast food restaurants.

The fact is, nobody MAKES us smoke, drink, eat shit, stress, sit on our asses, and die early.

Healthcare does cover terminal illnesses...you're right. But in places like Canada, terminally ill patients often get screwed because they wait too long to see specialists. Not by any fault of their own, but because that is how the system works up there. See the case of the lady that lost her leg due to a very treatable circulatory problem. There are many cases like that.

And yes, pregnant women are given coverage.
