yeah this shit pretty much seems the same except a more fluid demo doesnt even tell you how to put somebody against the cage or duck a punches aint wastin a dime on this game THQ always puts out the same garbage
Im not sure about how cage work is done, but to duck and weave (for ps3) you hold R1 and flick the left stick to the direction you wanna move in.
Ive done it a few times but its not the easiest thing to do for me. The timing has to be right and i think they hafta throw high punches in order for it to work.
i aint gonna buy this game seems like pretty much the same thing as last year random put me against rashad every time which was like 6 times i know there is only 4 fighters KO'd him every time thq never does anythin that great they put out pretty much the same product out every time
they changed alot of controls, the punchs look alot more generic, and everything about it looks generic, just look at how the fighter does a push kick, he just lifts his leg out of nowhere. they even changed the controls for standing up. wtf...!!!
I don't like how difficult it is to posture up when you're in top position on the ground. I mean, I know its hard in real life, but it seems even harder in the game. WTF.
I noticed the changes. I noticed the fighters stand like they do in real life (so far on the demo) lets just hope every fighter is unique just like they said.
still cant bob and weave like my opponent can,and reverse the grapple against the cage.....but I know its possible which is a huge improvement........only been able to finish with TKO on the ground, standing KO and Kimura.....experienced mode.....ground game gets a lil too difficult past experienced mode..........
I think ill get this one. The 1st one i played the demo and didnt really like it as much so i didnt bother. But can Rampage powerbomb in this shit or what?
It looks like the only time you can send knees to the head is if you got the opponent pushed against the cage. I like that they dont cut off the replay in the middle of you knockin the motherfucker when hes on the ground. I thought that was wack when theyd cut the replay off before it was really finished.
As far as Rampage is concerned i got his moves down. One of the other aspects i have a gripe with in this game is when you knock em out, the fighter shouldnt just stand there stiff, you should be able to run on em and swing until the ref pushes you off. Otherwise its not that bad of a game.
Also, im hoping they let you use an existing fighter for career mode this year. WTF was that all about in 2009? You had to create youre own for career mode? There was a few things they did in 2009 that had me asking "why"?
i thought this game was way the fuck too choppy, but its because i realized i was playing on beginner and just throwing punchs. the striking has to be ALOT more calculated this year. im a fan now. the combos are more comboish this year, and the cage control is a nice additive. i just need to get better at take down defense. and am i trippin or did they get rid of the rubber guard?
Man something thats pissing me off since I been playing a little more now, is that when you knock someone out with a dirty boxing clinch uppercut, you know that over powered uppercut that you can rock people with if you use it like 5 times.. If you knock em out, your person starts putting their arms up like they won and shit. this is NOT how UFC is. You stay on that damn person till the ref jumps in
THQ is the latest publisher to join the fight against the sale of used games.
The company confirmed PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions UFC Undisputed 2010 will require players to entire a one-time use code to access the game's multiplayer modes and features.
The code is available with all new copies of the game. If the game is bought used and the code has already been redeemed, then a $5 access fee is required.
"THQ is delivering a truly unmatched online gaming experience for fans of UFC and across all fighting games in general," the company said in a statement issued to IGN. "The main enhancement of UFC Undisputed 2010's premium online content is the new "Fight Camp Mode" in which players can assemble ranks of up to 40 people and train together.
"This is a significant value-add to the game as players can continually improve their skills by training with their friends and bringing teams of MMA specialists together."
UFC Undisputed 2010 is set for release next week. THQ said it will have additional details at a later date.
One-time use access codes continue to be a growing trend in the industry.
Electronic Arts plans to soon implement the "Online Pass," a code that must be entered before players are granted access to multiplayer modes in most of the publisher's upcoming sports titles.
Ubisoft has also stated it plans to combat used sales with a similar method.
