What I heard was Chael Sonnen had a "severe" weight cut for this fight. His last performance against Brian Stann had a completely different Chael in the octagon compared to Saturday nights. He didnt look like Skeletor either.

Hopefully he has a better weight cut when he goes against Anderson Silva. I just want a good fight.

thats the same 'what if' as belfort tried to pull with his "if he hadnt knocked me THE FUCK OUT i woulda knocked him out. silva was injured, sonned tapped when he had less than 2 minutes to endure. pillow fists though, its not like he was wrecking silva's face. get all excited though, watch for a submission in the 3rd this time.
not really. chael did dominate him for 4+ rounds. however it looked like silva did deliver the bigger ass whipping. i remember every round with chael on top dominating but at the end of every round he looked like he was getting his ass whipped. prime example on this pic.

sonnens punches have no power to them, he throws them alot so the ref doesnt make the fighters get to there feet. it's a great strategy to win but thats why i was saying Bisping won that fight. sure chael out struck him but thats because he throws punches in bunhches that wouldnt even hurt a 2nd grader. the cut bisping had was from a headbut since he's mainly headbutting while fighting. again these are good techniques to winning but not good for entertaining fights.
any silva fan watching that 1st fight was wondering what the fuck was going on. Silva wasnt striking and letting chael take him down every time. he never tried to throw punches standing and then it all made sense. Chael was calling out Silva's BJJ and for the 1st time in his career Silva came out in his BJJ uniform with his black belt. then he dropped his hands in the 1st and let chael take him down so he can try to submit him. it could all be coincidence but i highly doubt it. Silva is a at a level where he can do what he wants in the ring to any opponent and get away with it, he's that good. he proved he can submit Chael and now he'll prove he can destroy him standing up and may even retire after that unless they give him GSP or Jon Jones.
also silva was admittingly turning down chael saying he wasnt a contender yet which IMO was true. he cheated and he should have to atleast beat 2 other contenders to get the shot which he did so now i know silva will face him.

Im not sure about that. Anderson was throwing back at Chael throughout the fight and they both dazed each other on a couple occasions. Silva told his corner something was wrong and motioned towards his ribs when he returned to his corner after the first round. I dont think it had anything to do with Anderson "letting" Chael take him down. He was injured most of the fight.
there was a moment in either the 1st or 2nd round where he walked right up to sonnen and put his hand above his head for sonnen to take him down. i'm not saying he purposely waited until the last minutes to choke him, but it was obvious he wanted to win with his jujitsu from the jump. he never really swung on sonnen until the 4th and he almost got him too but i think he started then because he was nervous he wasnt going to get a submission.
