you watch the fight? yeah sonnens punches are more like little slaps that do NO damage whatsoever. bisping clearly won that fight, he controlled the 1st 2 rounds completely and had more effective striking. i mean if chael won but split decision i'd feel the same but i wouldnt mind as much, but some ref gave him all 3 rounds!! WTF!!! ufc needs to change that takedown rule where you have to do damage or hold it or something. oh well now the rematch will be set and anderson will demolish him this time around.
I'VE ALWAYS FELT IF A FIGHTER GETS TOOK DOWN AND DOESN'T TAKE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OR GET SUBBED, THEN CAN GET BACK TO HIS FEET OR STALL OUT FOR A STAND UP...
NULLIFIES THE TAKE DOWN AND ANY POINTS GAINED OFF OF IT...
UNTIL THEN A WRESTLER CAN JUST TAKEDOWN AND BLANKET HIS WAY TO VICTORY...

I had Chael winning 1 and 3 and had 2 as a toss up that could have gone either way. Bisping literally did nothing in this fight, Chael did close to nothing, but that little something he did was better then the "clinch control" Bisping had.

it had 4.4 million viewers in the overnight rating (they say it'll be higher when official ratings come in later this week) and won it's time slot against all the other networks.....don't think Fox cares about "boring fights" if they're winning in the ratings.
Fox basically picked up UFC for a steal price compared to major sports. They got UFC for 700 million over 7 years, they pay the NFL that much a season. So i'm sure Fox is happy with the ratings win.

for what its worth I was happy with having a free card and live. Most of the headliners are dominant grapplers so its nothing new this card was gonna have different results than goin to decision. the production and the format with the more talking is educationg the old people that still think the ufc is a sport of human cockfighting. At least now they get to see that these are legitimate athletes competing on a professional level. To me it was a success, boring fight and all....
I think Bisping was just an odd matchup for him, and everyone thought he'd tear through him. They have about equal standup, Chael's better offensively and Bisping defensively, and Bisping's hard as hell to keep on the ground.

didnt think the fights were boring at all, of course you wants knoccouts, but u get whats on the card. All grapplers n wrestlers, to me i thought rashad knew he had the w already so he cruised his way to victory w/o risking an injury again, he made phil look amatur, you can tell phil didnt want it after the third.As for drama queen chael sonnen, he prepared for a whole different fight and still almost lost it with bisping i dont see how in the hell they gave him 3 rds. to bispings 0...dudes a fuccin character tho, whether you like him or not he's entertaining, for myself cant stand the dude and anderson is gona wrecc this clown in brazil...R.I.P CHAEL
