Thats what Nick Diaz does too. He tries to break you down not look for a knockout, but he doesnt run around the ring, land 1 and run some more.
At the pre-fight press conference Nick was asked whats the diff between GSP and Condit, he said With GSP you risk losing to a decision, with Condit you risk losing your teeth.

Where was that Carlos Condit tonight? I was already bored by round 4.

i'm done renting ufc fights. after that robbery i expect a refund. i like condit alot but when you lose you lose. fuck the ufc, and i will no longer rent fights. streaming here on out.

first off, what does "never trained" have to do with watching a fight?

second off even with his "strategy" PLEASE tell me how Condit possibly won 1, 2 or 5? I'll agree he won 3 and 4 with his tap and run "strategy" but 1, 2 and 5 fuck no.

And your effective strikes comment shows me maybe you have "never trained".

I know I'm part of the minority but I thought it was a great performance by Condit. May not have been a hugely entertaining fight but he did a really good job of not getting hit by those famous Diaz combos and mixing it up himself. He had a lot of movement which I don't think Diaz was anticipating. He wanted to stand and trade which probably wouldn't be the best idea for anyone when fighting Nick Diaz lol. Anyway, I enjoyed the fight. Just my personal opinion.

Lol, u wanna come watch the fight with me so I can break it down to u? Bottom line, if u were cornering condit, wut would u tell him? Let Diaz push u to the cage? That's where Diaz is MOST effective. Yea condit bacc peddled, doesn't mean the guy who's pushin forward should win the fight tho. Everyone crying condit was running, no, he was cutting angles when pushed bacc to the cage.

And yes, I DO train. My instructor is a Blacc belt from Renzo Gracie. Been training since 08. Now tell me, wut would YOU tell condit to do when nic pressed him to the cage?

The first two rounds were tough to call and were extremely even. I had Condit in rounds 3 and 4. Condit was winning the fifth until Diaz took his back, so that was a tough round to call as well.

Round 5? Eh. Can't say that. In order for me to "break down" me n u would hav to sit and watch the fight together. My opinion, condit landed more effective strikes. My original post wasn't directed to the posters who had issues wit the judging. Mainly jus the ones saying condit "ran". So I posted that whoever is saying that mus not train. Cus the "running" is called strategy. Condit fought that fight PERFECTLY. Diaz is overrated. His hands are hella good. There's definitely a mystique about him and his "pepper" punches. But I knew from the jump, jus get a fighter to angle outta the fence and u can take Diaz out MOST of his game.
