Bantamweight, Lightweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight


Jones is definitely more marketable than Shogun, and the fact that he's a humble guy who lives a squeaky clean lifestyle can definitely help change some people's perception of the sport and its athletes.

I was rooting for Shogun, but whatever way you spin it, Bones earned that strap.

i dont know what to think about the light heavyweight belt. the only people that actually held on to the belt after winning it was machida and rashad, where machida supposely lost to shogun in their first fight. and those are just 1 title defenses.

thinking about the progression of the belt Rampage could've been champ all the way up until the Bones fight.

Rampage should've beat Forrest
Rashad was up next and Rampage at the time would've beat him
Machida after that, Rampage already beat him
Shogun after that, Rampage would've beat the leg kick only Shogun that showed up that night.
Shogun number 2 wouldn't have happened.

Rampage should've had a huge run as champ.

thats a lot of assumptions. but i guess there are never any upsets in mma right.
