damn the fight was brutal on shoguns part. it seemed so easy for jones. shogun did had 1 opportunity to finish the fight when jones attempted his spinning back elbow and shogun caught it and couldve went for rear naked choke.

and thanks for the folks that posted links for the stream, shit was smooth.

was anyone that shocked shogun gassed that quickly and looked like shit. Not taking anything away from jon jones but coming off a 300 day injury break, a fighter isnt going to be in peak fighting shape. i would have loved to see these 2 fight at full strength.
oh well at least rashad will get his ass whooped next like he did against machida

im gonna sound bias since i got a machida avatar, but captain america smashing machida? NOT GONNA HAPPEN. randy bout to get crumpled like rich franklin. im tired of everyone hating on machida saying all he does is run, this and that. if thats the case, the ref should interfere which they seem to never do.

the only thing about machida is he takes hella long to start getting active. IMO he beat rampage. any 10-5 japanese scoring system would tell you that. he was the only one to do any damage @ all in that fight. 1st 2 rounds were way too close.

LOL. So Bones Jones only beat Shogun because the vet Shogun was not 100%? Shogun gassed in the 1st round because he was getting hit with clean shots to the body. Just face facts the great Shogun got beating up and KO'ed by a better fighter.

As for Machida dude is scary and a runner. You can not win a fight running for your life for 2 of the 3 rounds in a fight. Rampage won the 1st and 2nd rds due to him actually fighting and applying pressure and not running like a track star.

Bones Jones had two training camps and two fights in two months. If anyone should've gassed it should've been Bones. Shogun is a good fighter but there nothing he did in that fight that would tell me that Shogun can beat Bones period. He got beat-up and down cage with little to no problem by Jones. I for one think that Shogun was 100% for the fight, but he just got beat by a better fighter.

i rather come off coming a training camp fight dominate then have another fight lined up instead of being injured for like year then have to come in fight explosive guy not sayin thats why shogun lost he would of most likely been dominated still had he not got injured

Shogun was 100% for the fight he just got beat up. Stop making excuses because Jones beat him up with no problem. This time last week no one was talking about Shogun not being 100%. All I was hearing was that it's too early for Bones to fight a vet like Shogun, Shogun has to much experience for Jones etc.. Now that Jones beat Shogun like he stole something dude wasn't 100%. LOL this is too funny..
