I don't see the comparison, jarule got eliminated by 50, twista is makin music for the times...

Jarule always had a strong pop fan base, twista came from the underground and got respected by the mainstream...

Those two are polar opposites pimp

50 just said what people were already feeling about JA. Trying to hit high notes and selling out to the pop world. Any Ja fan will tell you VVV was his best album. Any Twista fan will tell you adrenaline rush is his best album. Look how 50 sold out, money changes the majority of music artist. If you start slacking on the mic don't expect fans to keep buying your shit. No Traxster, No Kanye, No Hunger, equals Twista will tank. Twista was my favorite rapper just a few years ago, but now he only comes correct when he's featured on somebody elses song. His single with pharell aint do shit, creep fast will probably have more success but it wont sale the album. Twist will probably get some ring tone cake off of this project but thats about it.

You do realize that's one of the most lucritive avenues in music now a days right??

Unless you have endless promo (kanye vs 50) its hard for EVERYBODY to sell records.... so trust me, this aint the only artist yall will hear that is now makin music for the digital world

Yeah thats why I brought it up. Dude above you was talking about this album going gold, but niggas with hit records aint even sellin no more. So I ask whats the point of selling out when you already have money, You have/had a solid fanbase, and you promised to bring it back to the orginial shit?

You can keep it gutta and still make money, ask Tech N9ne,Trae,Ric Jilla etc.

Those cats u named aint seein shit compared to mainstream niggas tho... and if they do, they gotta work 500x's harder, tourin damn near year round and shit...

Havin a record spin 6000 times a week thruout the country during a normal life span of a song can get u between a quarte million to 500,000...

Havin a ringtone that sells a million copies, if you got a good contract, can get you anywhere from 250,000 to 750,000 +... aside from how much they can charge per show, merchandise at the show, ect... there's millions of dollars in iTunes, expecially now with the whole iPhoe/iPod movement.

But I don't know about erryone else, but I wouldn't care how much money I had, if I could see a way to make more I'd do it...

I see what people sayin and errything, but I like the fuck out this album... maybe I'm being biased...

Alot of niggas on BOXDEN.com sayin the same shit too......

I mean 1ST OFF, the nigga fucked up not bringing Trax on this album.....His beats woulda helped them flows on here....So this album had NO chance of bein 5/5 or at least 4/5 material.......

So far 'Pimp Like Me' 'Charged' 'I Aint That Nigga' 'Aint No Hoes' 'Creep Fast' 'Trouble' 'The Come Up' and 'Whip Game Proper' the only trax I cant fuck with.....Why he aint put 'Bussin No Discussion' on the album? He shoulda put that cut on here.....Somma the production is kinda weak on here tho......

I need to take this album in all the way one more time to see if im still feeling it tho
Thats 6 songs u named that where good, how can any1 say a cd like that is "OK" or "SUCKS" ist hard to find a decent cd this day in age has that many good songs any1 have says KAMAKAZE is better, well thats when twista fell off singing all those lovey dovey tunes, shit was str8 mainstrem garbe this cd is his best since the original adreneline rush rmber besides the speednot mobsters cd ahe did nuttin else besides those compilations

Whaaa....Kamikaze was a raw album to me.....Shit, 'Kill Us All', 'Here I Am', most of the joints on there was goin hard......Shit even the singles off that album was goin harder than that 'Hit The Floor' and 'Girl Tonite' shit he's been putting out....Now 'The Day After' was some commericial bullshit, and I aint gotta explain why.....

Kamikaze can get played all the way without even skippin shit....

Now Im listenin to A.R. 2007 as I type this, and I can say its startin to grow on me some more, but I still cant go as far to say that its his best since his best album.....

THis album def shocked me bc Twista has always been one of my favorite rappers of all times and for me to see him accept this shit and release it shocks me. This one of the niggas taht I thought wouldnt ever dissappoint on a retail album. Somebody need to contact him real quick before this album ships out and convince him and atlantic taht it will be a big mistake to drop this bc this will def flop due to the fact nobody likes it not even my lady. His Whirlwind mixtape had unreleased shit tahts smashin this whole album.
Yea this shit may do some 'Day After' numbers fosho......

I havent seen any type of promotion going on for it, cept on his myspace

a song with twist tech n9ne and traxter would be ill , especially if it was along the lines of a welcome to my world type record .

i think twista is capable of making an album that pleases everybody

album is pretty hard tho . u can tell he at least tried to satisfy everyone , old and new fans alike .

im biased but i didnt see anyone mention wrist stay rocky the entire thread that shit is hard .

I'm sure it's been said, I didn't read all the post. But he hurt himself by naming this album Adrenaline Rush. With that title, everyone who knows Adrenaline Rush was expecting this one to be on the same level, which would NEVER happen because there is no Traxster. No matter how many people duplicate the Traxster sound (which was done on Kill 'Em All on Kamikaze, and a few tracks on this new one), the vibe of the two will never be there. The album was terrible in my opinion.
