When it comes to science I believe that we are barely scratching the surface. God and religion are bullshit IMO and very lucrative for the people that run the churches. I feel that anyone who truly believes in god is a halfwit and cannot think for themselves. Like I said though it's just my opinion and I may be wrong... But I'm very sure I'm not.

I told my Jehovah witness homie that God and religion are all man made.

How can there be a higher being that we can neither see, hear or feel?

I can understand there being a person that lived way back in 1592 B.C. (?) and maybe he seen the the difference between good and evil and decided to live his/her life as righteously as possible and he had his following, so when he died people idolized him......I can bring myself to fathom that.

But as far as there being an actual spiritual entity I dont believe it.

This may all change one day but thats how I see it right now.

I have a hard time deciding this shit. I mean how did the earth all start and the planets and space and everything. How did everything all begin. Science can go far but when you cant explain all that shit thats when people say god started it. But then how did god start shit. If there is a god what does it look like and how did it become created. You ask them same questions with god and all that. Then thats the point where like I dont know what the fuck happend or to believe.

My thoughts exactly. If there is, indeed, such a thing as god and it created our planet and universe then who or what created god? How did god come to exist in the fist place?

Science only goes so far then thats when God steps in thats all I gotta say bout this subject
Did you think before you typed this? As some asked, WHEN does God step in? When we are brought a question that there is no answer for YET? That just shows (to me) ignorance. Ignorance as in not trying or actually wanting to search for the truth. Just saying a name of a person who supposedly created everything just to get past the proposed question.

Why not both?

What about general theism and science but not religion. Sorry but the question seems vague to me.
Theism: the doctrine or belief in the existence of a God or gods.

God: the supernatural being conceived as the perfect and omnipotent and omniscient originator and ruler of the universe; the object of worship in ...

What do you believe in?....that is my question.

I dont know much about theism but based on that definition it seems to go hand in hand with religion to some extent. The belief in God or "a" God.
