I saw the movie last night. And as many as u know I'm a huge transformers fan.
That being said I was really impressed with the movie. The first one was cool, second was garbage, but the third one is indeed the best one out of the 3 no question. Pacing was great, lots of dialogue between the autobots. Not too much of sams parents. The british chick, I liked her better than megan fox. Seems like michael bay listened to the fans on this one. My only complaint is that there needs to be more dialogue between the decpeticons as well. I feel like there wasn't enough between them to get a feel of their personalities. Also soundwave is a mercedes which I thought was gay. And shockwave is some lizard type thing lol and never spoke. I hope they make another one with the dinobots and add unicron and that shit would be epic!

watched it lastnight in IMAX 3D and holy shit was it fun to watch. just as good with the 3D as avatar was IMO and why do people get so critical over this movie? this movie isnt for the critics and never was meant to be. they're not trying to win oscars here or blow your mind with a twist at the end. it's here to entertain you and nothing more. if you're a fan of action and comedy then see this movie and if you have an IMAX near you then thats the only way of seeing it in theatres IMO

I'm actually surprised people still pay to see these.

because this is the type of movie to actually pay and go to the movie and see. it's like a rollercoaster ride. i wont buy this movie when it releases like i did Black Swan or even Inception since those are legit amazing movies with plenty of replay value. this movie is meant for a theater.

Keen-eyed audience members that saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon over the weekend (which would be quite a lot of you, according to the film's record-breaking box office numbers) may have felt a sense of deja vu at one scene in the film, in which one car crash in particular looked quite familiar... See clip below for a comparison.

Yes, that crash had previously appeared in Bay's 2005 film The Island. What was the reason behind this? (See below.) In a way you have to hand it to the Transformers special effects team. The way in which a transformer was added into the crash so seamlessly is quite impressive.

UPDATE: The shot from 'The Island' was inserted after an accident that occurred during filming of that particular chase scene in 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'. A tow-cable snapped, hitting film extra Gabriella Cedillo and resulting in a serious head injury, leaving her paralysed. This is extremely tragic, and our thoughts go out to Gabriella and her family. If you would like to keep up to date with Gabriella's recovery, you can do so here.
