I bet that shit was painful for Naughty By Nature's DJ KayGee because he ain't fuckin with Treach or Vinnie in real life, he moved on to R&B. Although I did hear there was an album in the works. Treach still has alot of fire in him though. Did anybody catch right before the commercial when they presented Cypress Hill with their chains, there was only three chains at first and then the screen skipped and all of a sudden they had four. I guess it's because Sen Dogg, Muggz and B Real were thought to be the only members of Cypress Hill. Either that or I'm late, who was that other dude that played the drums ?

The point of the show was to pay tribute. Not to entertain the masses. This aint a Lil Wayne concert where a nigga supposed to take his shirt off and jump into the crowd. $hort is a grown ass man, an OG at that, he's earned the rite to be laid back at all times. That nigga finally got the respect he deserves.

I didnt notice that, But the dude who plays latin percussion is Eric "bobo" correa. His dad Willie Bobo was a latin jazz legend. He been playing with them for probably over 15 years, hella good drumer.

I wonder if he meant to freestyle on the gettin it part. I guess it wasn't paystyles for VH1.
I don't think he ment to do a freestyle. He missed the beat so he just went for it.

Kid Rock was put on by Too $hort and didn't just open up for him back in the early days so that was disrespectful of him to say. Plus he fumbled the end of the verse when he said "I said it again and I'll say it again", when he should of said "I said it before and I'll say it again". Kid Rock messed up on a Jay Z tribute performance before too. He forgot his Hip Hop roots fo' real!

Bun B, should of showed way more respect to Too $hort. Scarface skippin' every other word for the Crowd to say it back when you are on the Eastcoast, come on man.

Luke Skywalker (take it back old school), was sounding drunk and fumbling over his words while he was introducing $hort Dog.

His honors were terrible. The show itself was put together really well. Everyone else did their tributes nicely, you could tell they practiced and took it serious, but with Too $hort it just went silly.

Eve gotz BOOTY! Naughty by Nature had the best performance, Slick Rick was dope. Slick Rick is way fly. De La Souls tribute was amazing.

I think they should of had E-40, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube there to rep for Too $hort. For those of you that don't know go get that "Short Dogs In The House" cd and bump that Too $hort and Ice Cube track. One of the best Too $hort songs ever.
