it looks like they gonna just re release all that 1995 poor sound quality tracks and live off they past reputation to make some quick dollars off internet heads.
That's exactly what i am thinkin. I won't buy any of them, I'm only interested in new tracks. Of course, I STILL listen to them old tapes and they still tight but it's 2006 now and time to FINALLY record something new.

Lyrical Legend is not even a real UG Tape, I think, it sounds more like a bunch of tracks he's on, thrown together by somebody and labeled a C-9 tape

"Lyrical Legend" is just thrown together by some fan. Here's the tracklist:

1. Killaz by my side
2 the idle mind
3. no fear
4. bar none
5. act a fool
6. twista
7. pop the nine
8. high speed chase
9. memphis drama
10. so crunk
11. hard headed
12. talk is cheap
13. let me kill'em

so you see all these songs are taken from other tapes/cds.

Yea I agree. Fuck hearin' some 10 year old music. I wanna hear about da shit he been goin' thru da last 5 years and wit some up to date beats. If he really is gonna re release this album he might as well go back into hidin' cause it'll be like he's still gone if he ain't releasin' nothin' new.

I think he should drop new music but I wouldn't mind at all having some of the UG tapes remastered and on CD with some bonus tracks or something. Especially Runnin N Gunnin like Grim said...that tape is a fucking classic.

You can only do so much when it comes to remastering. If he brings the old tracks back out they not gonna be crystal clear sounding like most of yall think.
all remastering is just turning up the low, mids, highs a lil bit shits not gonna be perfect though. trust me. Now I hope he re recorded that tracks again. I got running gunning, memphis massacre, ashes 2 ashes all on cd i remastered them myself a few years ago.

Yeah that would be dope if he rerecorded them. I know about the whole remastering thing...but I'm sure they could make them sound quite a bit better than on those tapes. Plus it would be dope to have them on CD too IMO.

I'd rather have a new album though.

I just saw this on c-rock's myspace:

"SEARCHING FOR NEW LABEL IF ANY RECORD COMPANIES NEED A NEW HOT ARTIST WITH A BACKGROUND HOLLA BACK!!!"

so i guess there are some problems between him and tommy (once again)
