A video has surfaced on YouTube (which might not be up for long) where the TNA Director of Production Steve Small and a Universal rep talk to Impact Zone fans about how they are "cast members" from this point forward. This speech was done following recent weeks of negative chants from fans at TNA events.

Here is a summary of what was said:

"Before the tapings started, the Impact Zone crowd was addressed by members of the TNA staff. They talked to the crowd about not cursing, making obscene gestures, or gang signs. They called the crowd 'cast members' and basically told the crowd that they needed to be quiet."

The best part of the live TNA event I saw was the crowd. There's absolutely no reason to go to a live event if you can't yell at the wrestlers.

There are a lot of people on this board lately with opinions that don't make a shit of sense.

Their ratings are already up, live event sales are up and merch sales are up. What's the problem there, other than you guys won't watch anything that doesn't have Rey Mysterio on it?

WHAT LONG TERM IMPACT DOES SIGNING HOGAN HAVE? THE GUY IS IN HIS LATE 50S AND CANT WRESTLE. JUST HOW LONG WILL HIS STUPID ANTICS LAST BEFORE THEY ARE STALE? THEY ARE BRINGING IN CANCERS TO THE LOCKER ROOM LIKE XPAC, SCOTT HALL AND THIS JERKOFF BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE. HOW DOES THAT BENEFIT TNAS FUTURE?

are you being serious?

they have a small bump because of the "new talent" it wont last. Even the fans at the shows chant boring, we want wrestling, and bullshit... so much so that the company had to step forward and tell their own fans that they need to stop booing.

If you really think TNA is doing good then you are the type of fan that they aim for.

just IMO

When's the last time you saw Dixie Carter wrestle? Vince McMahon owns WWE, the greatest wrestling league in the history of wrestling, and that guy was never an active wrestler. He's the same age as Hogan, if not older, and the dude is about to step in the ring with Bret Hart, a 60 year old stroke victim. I remind you also, that Hogan (supposedly) has no intention of wrestling.

Any bump is better than NO bump. I'd like to see you run a company.

"Oh well productivity is up, profits are up, and brand awareness is up... This just goes to show that we are not doing well".

I just think it's funny that armchair Vince McMahons are sitting around talking about what a failure something is when the numbers clearly state otherwise. You can argue about who you like or don't like on your wrestling show, but you can't argue with the facts.

If you really think TNA is doing good then you are the type of fan that they aim for.
If someone didn't think a brand was doing well, then they wouldn't be "fans" would they?

This happens on WWE programming on the regular. They're just not stupid enough to think they can do anything about it, so they edit it out.

WHAT THE HELL DOES DIXIE CARTER HAVE TO DO WITH HULK HOGAN? DIXIE CARTER IS THE MAJORITY OWNER. VINCE MCMAHON IS MAJORITY OWNER. HOGAN IS A PAID ON-AIR CHARACTER WHO WOULD SELL HIS OWN MOTHER FOR THE RIGHT PRICE. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT IS THE KIND OF GUY YOU WANT AROUND WHEN YOUR TRYING TO TAKE YOUR COMPANY TO THE NEXT LEVEL. THE GUY HAS MADE IT CLEAR TIME AND TIME AGAIN HE IS IN IT FOR NOTHING BUT THE MONEY AND HIS OWN EGO.

That has nothing to do with the fact that you said "Huld is 50 something years old and can't wrestle". What does his in ring ability have to do with his position in TNA?

I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT IS THE KIND OF GUY YOU WANT AROUND WHEN YOUR TRYING TO TAKE YOUR COMPANY TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
What do you consider "the next level"? To me, making more money, and getting better ratings, as well as finally making REAL moves like a Monday night run is a step in the right direction.

THATS EXACTLY MY POINT, HE IS 50 YEARS OLD AND CANT WRESTLE, SO WHAT THE FUCK IS HE THERE FOR? HE CANT WRESTLE, HE CANT ANNOUNCE, HE ISNT PARTICULARLY STRONG WITH THE MIC. WHAT VALUE DOES HE ADD? MOVING TO MONDAY NIGHT IS A REAL MOVE? HOW ABOUT THIS, PUT OUT A BETTER PRODUCT AND NOT BRING IN HAS-BEENS AND WWF REJECTS.
